Don't know what's going on lately, having a great deal of trouble sourcing many items locally, my go to mouthwash being one of them. Luckily I found it here and as one of those who hates the taste of mint, clove is the only one that doesn't make my mouth feel like it's been stung with hundreds of wasps. Was very surprised to find it at a reasonable price too. Very happy, all arrived well packaged and very quickly.

Unable to buy this mouthwash in the supermarkets any longer I bought it online from this seller for the same price as I'd paid previously in the supermarkets.

Dentyl works like no other at actually CLEANING your mouth. To be honest I can't say whether it's any better or worse than other washes at protecting from bacteria or treating gum desease etc but at actually cleaning it's the best one I've ever used. I get gum blisters due to chemo and my regime is oraldene, wait 2 hours then Dentyl in the morning after breakfast then same again after tea before bed. I've tried allsorts of alternatives from salt rinse to all the named washes and I find this way works well for me. Follow the instructions though for best results. 4 stars is simply because on its own its a great cleaner but likely doesn't contain the same protection as other washes?

If I'm honest, these kind of "reviews" normally annoy me because they're usually just a rant (so see my product review in the next paragraph), but akin with Mark B and his review, I can't really afford this item in light of the 50% price increase. It was £2 for at least 6 months, if not a year, and that's what I can afford to pay. I can't pay £3, £3.50, £3.99 or whatever, because one bottle only lasts me about a week or so, and that's with just myself using it a few times a day (morning, teatime and at bedtime). I normally buy in bulk therefore and avoid the High Street chemists and supermarkets, but annoyingly Amazon limited the number of bottles that I could buy (even though it was an ongoing offer/ price), so I couldn't stock up. Okay, so discount deals do come up in the bargain stores every now-and-then, but it's inconvenient to go there, plus I need to have a stash of bottles to take from while I'm waiting for a deal. I'm writing this in the vain hope that Amazon and the manufacturer will get the message; if they do, then all power to them, because these are difficult times financially and every 50p or £1 makes a difference.Anyway, this product works well because after swishing it around your mouth you see the bacteria coming out in the sink/ loo. If you then floss, and go again with Dentyl before brushing (say last thing at night, not every time you use it obviously), you'll often release a bit more gunk. I don't recommend using anywhere near a full cap of it though, because about a-third-of a cap is enough. Just make sure that you thoroughly shake the bottle and pour it out *immediately* once you've done-so, otherwise it separates and you'll end-up using the blue element too quickly. That is more of an issue the fuller the bottle is, when it really does need a vigorous shake to get it to mix together.This is the best flavour and type of Dentyl in my opnion, so I suggest ignoring all the other options, but that's up to you. To conclude, because the emphasis with Dentyl is getting-rid of bacteria and removing plaque rather than purely freshening the breath, I would never want to go back to a standard mouthwash.

It's a bit quirky when it has to be shaken to be mix it up before use, but it really does work and I would highly recommend it.
