These are vital to a dryer for safety. If you blow this fuse it is because your dryer is getting too hot. My washer and dryer is in my kitchen behind bi-fold doors. Well they used to be. I removed those bi-fold doors and installed two indoor doors. But you must keep the doors open so there is enough air flow. If not it gets too hot. If the dryer gets too hot it blows this fuse. It is a safety measure so your house don't burn down. My daughter moved back in with me with her kids. Lots of laundry. The doors would close and also there was a laundry basket with towels on top of the dryer. I have had to replace these fuses 5 times since last December. I bought the first couple locally but they were almost $20 each time. So that's when I ordered from this store. Fast delivery and looked the same as the others. Needless to say I bought a whole kit and changed out the heating element and all the parts that go to it. I leave the door open and have not had any problems for a month. I still have 2 of them left and I hope I do not have to use them again. Thank you for your product.

Fits perfect. Got my dryer running again. Great price. Good product. Yet to see if there is any longevity but I have my fingers crossed. Even if it lasts 5 or so years, it'll easily be worth the purchase. I got three of them in a pack so it should work out just fine. 😁

This part works as advertised. It is a bit difficult to install. This is the third or fourth one i have replaced. They were from different Amazon sellers. Cheap part that does not last. Glad I don't have to pay over $100 for a service call to replace a $2 part.

This should be the first thing checked if a driver quits working. Simple to check, with the drier plugged in use a volt meter or a no touch electrical tester… if you don’t have power on both sides, it’s bad. Or you can unplug your drier and remove both wires and check ohms. Ours is located behind the rear panel of the drier. If you do find yours bad it can point to another issue. Before you burn out another one I suggest checking to make sure your drier is breathing freely through tye entire venting system. Make sure your high heat cutoff solenoid is working. Make sure your fan is intact and blowing. Make sure all the plumbing in the drier is free and clear. Finally, make sure your drum spins freely. We had a drum roller that was in bad shape and binding, while I can’t be certain this caused our issue I replaced both rollers, idler and the belt using all OEM Maytag parts and all came in a single kit. Our drier runs like new and it’s quieter than it’s been in years.

Buying for the second time - very good for replacement.
