The ZBoard is the world's first weight-sensing electric skateboard. To ride you simply lean forward to go and lean back to stop. No controller necessary. With a top speed of 17 mph and a range of 5 miles per charge, the ZBoard Classic is an awesome way to get around.

ZBoard is great...when it's working...and if the customer service team replies to you when there is an issue.
My wife and I are both teachers, so we aren't loaded. But she knew how much I would love an electric skateboard and dropped $1,000 for a ZBoard.I've had it for two years, and when it is working, it's AWESOME. So much fun to get around on, and people always want to know about it.The first time I had an issue, they said there was a part that was malfunctioning and it had been a common issue. They shipped out a replacement part with directions to install. Overall, it took a few weeks, which was annoying, but the customer service was pretty good.At the beginning of this summer I took by ZBoard out of storage (stored in our dry closet), and it the power kept cutting out while I was riding. I'd go about 50 ft, and it would just turn off. When I emailed about it (there is no place to call), it took 2 weeks for a response. The guy asked a question for some more info. I replied and then got radio silence. I emailed about once per week for over a month until I finally got a response today. The guy said to just buy a new battery pack. He also gave a quick apology for taking so long to respond, but gave an excuse...apparently they've been "working hard on the floor getting it ready for the ZBoard 2." That says to me that they care more about pushing new products than they do about making sure customers have a good experience. It's actually sad, because my wife was so excited about buying the ZBoard for me and keeps asking me why I haven't been riding it. I don't want to tell her about the lack of follow up from the ZBoard team, because I don't want her to think she wasted her money. I just wish the ZBoard team would realize how expensive their product is and make sure that people who buy their product have a good experience.

Saved up for months to get a board that doesn't work. (Updated)
I'm really, really disappointed by this product. I looked around for electric skateboards forever, trying to find the perfect one. As a student, my budget is really limited, so deciding to purchase a ZBoard Pro meant sacrificing for a few months in order to purchase it.I bought it, and loved it for a month. Then, the issues started. My ZBoard will stop working in the middle of me riding it. Not just "power turning off", but the brakes being forcefully applied without my feet on the brake pad. This has led to me falling off several times. Also, when I stop at a light or stop sign, then try to accelerate, it will stay completely stationary for 3-4 seconds then rapidly accelerate to upwards of 10MPH. Keep in mind that I've ridden this for a month with no issues, and know exactly how to control this thing safely.I was going to get new wheels for it, but they're backlogged for weeks. The wheels are okay, but the ones on the back need to be adjusted constantly, or else the wheels rubs really hard against the drive belt.I'm really disappointed in this purchase. I've contacted ZBoard and will update as soon as they get back to me.Update: I contacted Zboard and they said that there is water damage, and the speed controller needs to be replaced. I have never had it in a situation where it could have gotten wet at all, so I was a little frustrated, but the guy who I was emailing was helpful and willing to combine my shipping with the wheels I had ordered. Will update if this fixes the problem.

avoid...little to no customer service
I've had one for 8 months. It started out great. Now it doesn't work. And the company is bad at getting back to me. No phone number and there is no dialog thru email. I would argue this board is dangerous. When mine broke I was going forward at full speed and it locked up. I took a bad fall. The front pad doesn't work anymore. I'll buy another board but not this one. I think the pad design isn't ideal. It's something else that can go wrong

DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!
The ZBoard Electric Skateboard is a terrible product with terrible customer service. First of all, I had the product for a month and probably put 20 miles on it and it broke. I rode the board on flat and smooth terrain and took excellent care of the board, cleaning it after each ride. One day when I was riding the board at 15mph, it stopped short and suddenly went full speed in reverse. I almost fell off the board and then whenever I pressed the footpads, the board would accelerate to full speed in reverse. This is very unsafe as the board would not gradually increase in speed, but go from 0-15 mph in about 2 seconds.Anyway I contacted ZBoard and did not hear back from them for about 3 weeks. I had to email them four times to get a response and they told me to fill out a survey to diagnose the problem. I filled out the survey and sent it to them and they did not respond for 2 weeks. So finally they said if we wanted a refund, we would have to deal with Amazon. Even though Amazon's refund policy tells you to contact the company you bought it from and if they accept, you will get the refund.Overall, the ZBoard customer service is terrible and the board is 33 lbs. It only goes 5 miles and takes 6 hours to charge. Definitely, get a MetroBoard which I now have. The customer service is exceptional and the board is the best on the market. Also Marbel and Boosted make good electric boards. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!

I have the Pro version of the board. It has been in for repairs more than it has been available for use. The battery cuts out randomly and throws me from the board. Seems like many others have the same issue. Avoid this product.

It's very bulky and non-intuitive. It's especially hard to ride downhills, because in order to touch the brake button, the rider has to move a leg, making a moment when only one leg is touching the board. Also, the turning radius is really large. I've compared it with Boosted Dual, and it's so much easier to navigate Boosted than ZBoard, that ZBoard does not have any sense to me.
