Nice pieces of aluminum. They are made for mounting solar panels in unistrut. These ones in particular are for end mounting, meaning the end of the last solar panel in the rows of panels (search for mid clamps, which take up less room for in between panels).The specs for panel thickness are conservative. My measurements say that they can be used for 1-1/4" to 2" thick panels (they say 1-3/8" to 1-7/8").The grip on the bottom of the lip that holds the panel is nice.

These clamps adjust from 1.875 inch to ~1 inch. They have 5 slots for the major adjustment, then the bolt takes up the rest of the slack. The bolts are 8mm-1.25 and need a 6mm Allen wrench for tightening. They're intended to go on a rail with 3/4 gap (yet I've drilled my own holes in a rail to mount them on). They may cost more than specific sized ones, but these can be a "one-size-fits-all" if you're unsure.
