Q: What is the difference between the 2? is more expensive smoke-plus doesn't need a compressor? does it have more adapters?

Yes, it's more expensive because it has a built in air motor compressor AND it's also regulated to 1-PSI, the automotive standard for leak testing and is safe for EVAP. No, it does not come with more adapters. Everything else is the same.

Q: how would it work if the air motor stop working?

No, it needs the air motor to drive air into the smoke machine to pump out smoke. The custom 1 PSI motor we have installed into each unit is one of the highest quality air motors in the market and will last forever. Should anything happen, you will be covered by warranty as we have all parts here in our California office and warehouse. Contact us whenever you need help! :)

Q: Doe this come with adapters to fit to a 4" air intake?

Q: Can you use "fogworx extreme high density fog juice" as a smoke fluid for this machine?

No, do not use another type of smoke fluid other than those designated for Automotive Leak Detection. Fog juice uses another type of chemical compound that does not generate smoke cleanly and may damage sensors within the vehicle. A cheap alternative fluid that can be used is baby oil or USP mineral oil, but will not perform as well as Autoline Pro Smoke Fluid in terms of smoke output from our thorough test in lab.
