Very easy to maneuver to track the sun! Definitely get the suggested base because it’s pretty heavy.

Umbrella and stand are perfect. Better yet, the company selling this product, PURPLE LEAF, takes great care of their customers. They are attentive and respond to messages quickly. Definitely recommend using them.

Despite spending $330 on the umbrella and stand, $130 on the 300lb base, and $150 on sand....Within three weeks of purchase the wind picked up the umbrella with base knocking it on its side. The umbrella was damaged and unfortunately it seems there's no way to purchase just a replacement top. So my advice is just go with a cheaper umbrella.

Assembly instructions could be better.

We love our umbrella. We purchased a very stable base for it. It’s easy to get it positioned to provide shade in just the right spot. I would recommend.

Love the coverage and the ability to pivot the umbrella to adjust to the sun’s movement.

I labored to figure out what size umbrella would work for my sun pattern and size patio. Customer service was unbelievably awesome. I ended up selecting the 9×12 360 rotation plus left right tilt. I upgraded the stand to the metal grate style and it looks so classy. Don't forget the umbrella cover sold separately. This is a substantial investment and worth it! I have full sunny day coverage over my 13x22 foot block patio and the proportion looks fabulous. The assembly was easy - the umbrella comes with a mounting base that you attach first to the stand -- and then left the umbrella into. Two people are needed. For operation, however, I handle and am a petite woman. The handles and petals and crank -- all easy to operate the umbrella. I would highly recommend this product -- and anticipate many NY summers well-covered!

This umbrella is just for sunny definitely not for rain.
