One could go crazy trying to pick just the right humidifier. I settled on something that was less than $100 (I needed at least 3 so price was important), that would hold enough volume to work for at least 24 hrs, with humidity sensors and removable container (with a handle!) that could be easily carried from the sink back to the rooms. This product met all the criteria and it works great. Hot mist and essential oils are a plus but I just need my condo to be humid so cold mist is what I go for. The mist is nice and quiet, I can feel the difference in air humidity for sure. The water tank measure is useless - The unit is dark so the little window in the front is almost black both above and below water level so it’s impossible to see but a nice little red light will come on once the unit is out of water. Please read the instructions- they explain the difference between setting mist level and setting target humidity level. If you use humidity as your target then the mist level will be set and fixed to zero which basically means “auto”. If you start pressing the misting intensity button, you just turned off target humidity setting and now the unit is just misting at the desired strength. Fine by me but confusing at first. Also, these work excellent in large but closed rooms (6 liters gets used up in a little over 24 hours for me so I have to refill almost every day). But my living room, which opens up to hallway/kitchen/bathroom areas, just never gets that humid (I can never achieve humidity targets). So understand that this device is designed for rooms with contained air and not open areas, even if they meet square footage specifications. I highly recommend these for anyone who wants their place to be a lot more cozy in winter! The units are nice looking and really blend into the decor (they don’t have a look of an appliance like some of the square shaped alternatives), so adding 3 to my condo didn’t change the optics but the air is wonderful now!

Best humidifier I have ever purchased. It’s easy to fill, the size is just right you can adjust the humidity level, make it cold or hot, and there’s a night light. Also you can add essential oil to a little filter in the back. I’ll be using this year round.

Very nice humidifier. Quality is good. Love the settings. Night light is pleasing to the eye and helps in middle of the night.It can push out a lot of steam, so be careful. It did such a good job it soaked our hardwood floors.I have no complaints. Love this thing. So many options on it to fit your needs.

I bought this in hopes of putting some moisture into the air. I have to say it works wonders, providing different humidity levels. This provides both warm steam and cold. It is fairly easy to use just fill with water and go. It does have a window on the front so you can see the water level which makes it nice. However, it does have a couple quirks. You have to be careful when filling it, if you do it the way the directions suggest you will spill water over the sides. Just poor slow and you will be fine. Another thing that i didn't care for was it was so hard to read the buttons. It definitely isn't a deal breaker especially since it has some wonderful features. It is so quiet I forget I have it on a lot. It is very easy to clean and looks good enough to fit just about any setting. It does have a place for essential oil but I haven't tried it out yet.

Update: the setting for humidity level must just reset every time something else is changed because it’s been working perfectly since I wrote this review. Holds steady at 60% humidity in my plant corner! Has not leaked, I just add water every few days and it works as it should!I got this to raise the humidity around my plants in preparation for winter. I set it up yesterday. The humidifier works pretty well, puts out a lot of moisture. However, the buttons are hard to push. For every 5 pushes or so, it’ll change that setting. And when I set the humidity level I’d like to keep it at, it seems to forget it in a few hours. I have had it set all day to 55%. I just walked down and it was blowing mist at 67%. I have to constantly reset the desired humidity level. When I do, which takes many many pushes of the humidity button, it stops and lets it drop to what it’s set to and works as it should. Then, a few hours later, it forgets what it’s been set to. Maybe something’s wrong with mine.

Item arrived in a timely manner and works as described. I'm using it for an Elderly adult to help ease respiratory issues.

I purchased this for my master bedroom. The hvac in my condo seems to dry everything out in both summer and winter.We’ve been using this humidifier for 2 winters/summers and it has made a huge difference. In the atmosphere of our condo. Both myself and my French bulldog are breathing better. There’s a lot less snoring which means I’m sleeping better!!The water capacity is huge. I can let this run for 22 hours without needing to refill it.The light option is not something I was necessarily looking for, just so happened to be on this model and I’m actually really glad it is because it’s a perfect nightlight.If you are in need of a humidifier that you don’t have to refill every few hours and you want both hot and cold humidity I highly recommend this product.Two years of consistent use, and it’s still running great.

I'm only using it during the winter months because my forced air heating is extremely drying to my skin, hair and plants. I really appreciate that the digital read-out can be turned off for nighttime use in the bedroom. The essential oil tray doesn't seem to do a whole lot for dispersing fragrance while the humidifier is in use. The initial unit assembly is minimal and it's easy to clean all parts and re-assemble the unit afterward. I wish it came with an additional directional spout for the vapor because I initially wanted to place it on top of my bedroom dresser so I would have liked a directional spout that discharged sideways instead of out of the top to the ceiling area. Unit operates quietly and I really love that it's cold mist or warm mist, whichever is right for your needs.
