Tricky
It looks pretty good, mirroring. Best reasonable speed, but there will be a some lag between what's happening on the two screens. Functional enough for presentations. Hard to use or get started, because with a phone, you probably want data, but can't use mobile data at the same time as wifi on some phones, and data must be turned OFF for it to work This is bad for streaming from your phone. I hadn't needed the sound, so I can only assume about volume control or latency.

Good and easy to connect
I have tried several dangles before. This is the best one that I bought. It is easy to connect it with my displayers. Recommend.

This is a cool gadget to give you video from anything.
I use this to broadcast phones and laptops easily to my large monitor. Setup is easy.

Works usually - Android for streaming is a gamble for anyone anywhere
I threw a Windows 10 PC, a Google Pixel 6 and an iPad Mini at this. I have had issues with the Pixel 6 and using the "cast" function for any screen sharing so I chalk that up to their problem over this device's fault. The picture is clear on a 4k TV from whatever I can stream from, but there is a slower frame rate (watching hockey on local broadcast from Windows PC) when streaming but not enough to hinder most TV time or movie time. Wired always works better, but this is a great option for a small group or if you need to do something in a meeting room. There is a slight delay between my local laptop and the TV display but that is expected with what all is happening.Good things:Setup - Plug in, power on, connect to the WIFI it hosts, and go from there.Windows - hopped on Unitek wifi, windows key + K to see the list of devices, choose this one, wifi gets reconfigured to have you back on your home wifi so you can stream from the internet/your local NAS. Rebooting the device kicked it off the home wifi.iPad - had to reboot the device and repeat the process to get the iPad streaming/sharing but otherwise similar to Windows.Pixel 6 - tried, connecting... no progress. gave up. Could share an app or the entire screen on my phone, no differenceIT guy thing - you can reset the unit, connect to the wifi, hit the website of 192.168.203.1 and go through the interface to plug it into your wifi network. Once it is on your wifi, use your router to ID the new IP address of this unit and pull that up in your web browser. You can tweak a few other settings such as the device name but the default image on HDMI it produces does not change from listing the unit's default IP/wifi/password. Then you can connect from any device on the network that supports it without rebooting. Windows PC, disconnect, iPad, disconnect, back to Windows PC. See photos for the simple and not always descriptive functions you are tweaking.Streaming media via VLC or other playback programs that are not locked down from streaming services - They work, but there is a slight delay between your laptop and the TV. The iPad also went to a black screen with a message "on remote display" so you cannot see the lag between local and this device.Having another device like a firestick that you can screen share to is nice, especially without needing another account. No idea if the device shares anything back to the mothership, but there is a firmware update option on the device's webpage for configuration.

Has potential but requires repeated power cycle
Repeatedly crashes and needs to be reset once disconnected from a device before it can be connected to again. If this bug were fixed it would get 5 stars but at the moment it's a little more than a paper weight.
