This eye mask is pretty, good, and I've tried a few! It comes with two inserts so you can keep one in the fridge/freezer for when you need a cold eye mask and the other out so you can warm it in the microwave for when you need a warm one.I've had one in the freezer for several hours now and it's nice and cold but it hasn't frozen - I've had some that do. The eye mask has a zip across the top so you can change out the inserts and wash the cover too. The only improvement that could be made here is to have the zip a little bigger, so it's easier to take the inserts in and out.To make an insert warm you pop it (just the insert) into the microwave. The instructions are for a 700 watt oven- who has one this low nowadays?! I popped it in for 15 seconds and that warmed it, and you can heat it in increments so you don't wreck it.What I also liked is that one side is thicker than the other so if you're finding it too warm or cold, or not warm/cold enough you can flip it around to see if the other side of the mask is better.It has a hook and loop fastening, it's about 9cm long so can adjust for pretty much every head, and it's the soft sort so you're not going to get spiked by one side of it.

I like this cooling eye mask. It has a beautiful design, but it's alaso very comfortable, easy to adjust around the face and makes eyes feel nice.

That being said, this review is NOT swayed by that, and (as always) contains only my real thoughts on the product; good and bad.]I requested the ‘uncn Cooling Eye Mask for Puffy Eyes, Cold Eye Mask for Dry eyes, Eye Gel Ice Pack Use in Hot/Cold’ to help with headaches and tired eyes.The mask is reversible, washable and fastens with Velcro so will fit a range of sizes. The mask is as I expected it would be from the seller's description. The fabric used is good quality and the zip runs smoothly. There are two gel packs supplied which is convenient as one can be in the freezer on standby at all times. The same gel packs can be heated in a microwave for 10 seconds if a hot compress is preferred. The gel pads feel cooling even at room temperature.Having tried the mask on, I found that it wants to slip down when I am sitting upright. That isn’t an issue for me as I will use the mask lying down, or seated with my head resting backwards. It feels very relaxing, the weight gives an even and comfortable pressure across the eye area and the cooling effect on tired eyes is lovely. The price, at the time of this review, of £16.99 is very good given the quality of this product and the inclusion of 2 gel packs, I recommend it. 5 stars.

I haven't tried heating this yet, but I can confirm that it is absolutely brilliant for cooling the area around the eyes and the forehead (if you push it up a bit!). The box comes with the outer sleeve - which zips open and closed - and two gel inserts that can be heated or frozen as required. We immediately popped one of the inserts into the freezer for a couple of hours then tried it out in the fabric blindfold and it worked perfectly. The blindfold holds it in place where you want it and you can squish the gel around inside it to make it even more comfy against your face, and the sleeve is soft to wear against your eyes. I think this will be ideal for helping with headaches that are soothed by either heat or cold, or even just to help you cool down in hot weather.

This is a well made set with a quality mask and two ice packs.I have to say I found the cold a bit much on my eyes when using frozen ice packs - other people seemed less bothered by it.I few minutes use does reduce puffiness and leaves your eyes feeling invogorated.
