NavePoint12U 2 Post Wall Mount 18 Inch Deep Switch Depth Heavy Duty Network Server Rack

I used this rack to install all my home's audio, video and internet/network equipment in one location in a closet. The rack went together nicely, and mounted to the wall easily (mounting holes have 16" spacing, which is the standard spacing for wall studs). I separately purchased two ventilated rack shelves, and used them to install a Denon audio/video receiver, Oppo DVD player, fiber optic modem, DVR and HP 24 port switch in the rack. I didn't see any sag after all these components were installed.My only negative comment on the rack was that it came out of the box with numerous scratches, nicks, missing paint, etc. At first I thought I may have been sent a used item, but several of the braces were wrapped in plastic, and upon unwrapping had similar issues.Aside from these issues, I'm pleased with the rack and would buy another one.

The media could not be loaded.  Looks nice however one of the side rails is so poorly formed that the rack cannot be fully assembled. Returning

I mounted this rack inside a wall so my stereo is accessible from the Den. All the wires are routed through the walls. I only used the front rails using wood screws into the studs.

Sturdy and easy to assemble. Has all the screws needed. The anchored screws are good if mounting On drywall. Would have been nice to include wood screws since a lot of IDF closests have wood backing boards just for mounting things like this. Only issue I have is both upper support bars were cut at the wrong angle resulting in the pointed ends to stick out instead of being flush.

I really like how strongly this unit feels in terms of construction. There was a nick in one of the steel rails that could cut someone if not careful. That would be a half star demerit. The second half star is more related to the design itself. With these open shelves, its a little dissapointing that the top isn't "open". Meaning- I can't really use the (infinite) space above the rack for taller items (ie. vertically oriented video game consoles). Small gripe and one that I should have anticipated. Nonetheless, I'm very happy with this product.

Mounted this with 750lbs anchor bolts, installed switches and backup batteries into it, could hang from it by my arms. Great frame, definitely heavy duty and does the job.

Rack is very durable! Cross members make it much more sturdy than other similar racks without them. Lightweight and easy to handle by yourself. No instructions provided for assembly. Had to find the picture off Amazon then assembled it with some trial and error. This is the reason for 4-stars. Overall great product for the cost.

This worked like a charm and allowed me to install my network and media equipment very easily.
