This is a pretty decent set of blocks for building different environments. You get roads, water, grass, bricks, etc; plus there are specific blocks like a person, chicken, bee, and vehicles. They are really cute and hold together well, too.In the package, there's a book of ideas to go off of; I gave my 12-year-old the challenge to build the picture from the box, which he did without an issue. He said they worked well, as long as they didn't extend too far out from the base, like on the trees. All the pieces are opaque, so you can't see the magnets at work, but you can hear them tapping around as they match polarity with the other pieces.For the price, I think it's a good set. They are a little smaller than other blocks we have, so they can't really combine into a larger set, but they are good on their own.
