I needed these for a megaphone I was gifted. They work perfectly and I’m happy to be using rechargeable batteries to not only save the planet but save money. They last a while I have only charged them once and have been using them for a month; and I still haven’t had to charge them again. I also love how this pack come with the rechargeable battery so I don’t have to buy it separately since it’s more expansive to buy an 8 pack of eneloop.

I've used Eneloop batteries several years now. This is NOT a battery. It's an adapter, a case for AA-sized batteries in place of a C-sized batteries. It works well, but the life of a AA, of course, will not be as long as C-sized battery. But I don't care. Eneloop batteries are rechargeable up to 2000 times, twice as long as other lithium batteries. I'm a fan.

I am a serious photo hobbyist who does a lot of work with speed lights. As a result, I have a lot of experience with rechargeable batteries. As with many other photographers of the same ilk, the mighty Eneloop AA NiMH battery is a staple of my work. I've used many other brands, and types, or rechargeable, but in the end the Eneloops are superior. However, they don't make a D size unit. They make AA and AAA size batteries. I have a few Mag Lites, both Xenon and LED bulbed, with D-size battery chambers. I've always thought it would be great if I could get Eneloops into those flashlights since the alternate brands of NiMH rechargeables never seemed to work well in them (poor shelf life and insufficient light even when charged up), and the copper tops alkalizes are pretty heavy (and eventually expensive).That is all a long wind up to say, this kit fixes the issues. I topped off the off the shelf charge (didn't need much since they come pre-charged to about 1.3v or so), then assembled the AA Eneloops into the D-size sleeves. Into the two cell MagLite with the LED bulb and ... they are almost as bright as the Duracell Alkalines. Now, I know the total mAh or the Duracells is greater than the ~1900-2000 mAh of the Eneloop cells, but I can recharge these a couple thousand times. I use that flashlight almost every day, so I will save some bucks. I also have a LOT of eneloops for my photography, so backups abound. Lets just say that if my house flashlight runs through all my Eneloops, the family and I had bigger problems (e.g. civilization ending apocalypse, etc.).Finally, a benefit is that my flashlight is not a super heavy thing to carry around with this change. Now, I know that some folks like the reassurance of carrying what amounts to a heavy metal club that happens to be a flashlight, too (e.g. cops, security guards, etc.) but I really just need a light, and this lightens up the old Maglite a bunch. Now it feels solid, but not awkwardly heavy, in the hand.Finally, finally, I did bounce and shake the flashlight around a bit with these in it to see if I could interrupt the connection between the batteries and the sleeves. I figure it does double the number of connections that can go bad, after all. Happy to report that there were no issues.I'm now going to get the C sleeves, too. I can get most of my battery inventory down to just Eneloops, 9v Duracells and my vast collection of button batteries for all that miniature electronic crap that tends to accumulate nowadays ... :-)

I hate buying packs of C and D batteries for random toys and devices. This allows me to use my stock of rechargeable AA batteries for the occasional C battery need and attempt to be a little more sustainable while keeping my kids happy.

I needed two more D size battery recently as replacement. I found out that I do not have any spare at home anymore. However, I still have a few rechargeable AA batteries which I could use. This is a great buy since two holders for D size battery can range from $5-$10 while this package comes with two more good Eneloop AA batteries. I did not hesitate and bought this package right away. Now, I can replace my D size batteries whenever I need because I have some extra AA batteries on hand.

I have used the previous version of eneloop AA-to-D Size Spacers/Adapters. One problem with the old version is that it uses the negative terminal of the AA cell directly as base. When used in my MagLite ST3D016 3-D Cell LED Flashlight, for example, the battery spring is too large to make proper contact with the AA cell.The new D spacers in this product (Panasonic K-KJS1MCA2BA eneloop AA Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries with 2 "D" Spacers), however, have flat negative terminals like that found on real alkaline D cells. Therefore I can use them in my Maglite without problems. Using those D spacers also makes my Maglite a lot lighter, which is a good thing - as long as I don't need to use it as an impact weapon.On the other hand, it is important to note that the energy stored in a real alkaline D cell is about 5-8 times greater than that in a eneloop AA cell. A typical alkaline D cell is rated for 18,000mAh when supplying a light load of 50mA. When used in a heavy-load appliance such as Maglite, the battery capacity drops to around 10,000mAh. Still, this is 5x higher than the capacity of a 2000mAh eneloop AA cell. Therefore I can expect just 4 hours of runtime from a set of three rechargeable AA cell, compared to over 20 hours from three alkaline D cells.If longer runtime is important to you, consider D spacers that can accept two AA cells in each shell. Doing so effectively doubles the runtime. I have tested an inexpensive product and found it to work in my Maglite - after some modifications. See my review on AA to D Size Battery Adapter Case for details.[Additional Note]On the back of the eneloop spacer it says "Insert only a Panasonic rechargeable battery" and "Never insert a non-rechargeable battery" (in Red). The fact is, you can insert any brand of rechargeable AA cell into this spacer. You can even use non-rechargeable alkaline AA cell in case of emergency. Wouw.. sin duda lo que necesitaba para no estár contaminando en desmedida por el uso de baterías, personalmente prefiero el uso de baterías recargables, no me gusta el uso de baterías alcalinas por que solo las utilizas 1 sola vez, sin embargo me vi en la necesidad de comprar unas baterías tamaño D para un juego de mi hijo y no me agradaba la idea de tener que comprar alcalinas, además en casa tenemos varios aparatos/controles etc que requieren baterías y nos hemos esforzado por comprar baterías recargables AA o AAA según las necesidades por lo que contamos hasta con sus cargadores, pero tener ahora que comprar baterías D supone el gasto adicional del cargador de esta medida, sin embargo al ver esta opción y que utiliza una batería AA me facilita mucho la vida ya que no tengo que invertir en otro cargador y puedo seguir ocupando las baterías que ya tengo, me hace triple play.El producto es genial, fácil, practico, innovador y duradero. Mi hijo feliz con su juguete que ocupa sin parar.

Pensa numa pilha premium, de alta qualidade, robustez e durabilidade? É essa Panasonic Eneloop! O kit para transformar em pilha D me fez adquirir para colocar no Aquecedor de água a Gás, que só lembro que a pilha acabou quando vou tomar banho a noite e não liga... Ou seja, com essa pilha, resolvo com 20 minutos de carga...
