Q: how stiff is the arm? I need to return one bec the arm is too stiff. it takes 2 hands to bend into shape, so not easy to re-bend wo getting up

We have tight it more to bend it with one hand..... the thing is bending is not problem..... roller at base is moving while bending with one hand. This is also not a issue .... the main issue is I need longer one.

Q: Will this work to place iPad completely horizontal? I want to be able to lie down flat and just look up to watch Netflix.

The gooseneck arm does not work well for this purpose if you plan to mount it vertically to the top of your headboard so you can read your iPad horizontally in bed. It might work if your headboard rises at least 36 inches above your mattress surface, but even in this case you only have 24 inches of gooseneck to maneuver your device for viewing, which likely means you will need to lie flat without a pillow to view the screen properly. Then there's the issue of the gooseneck arm sagging more than desired when holding a heavy iPad. There are better options available if you want to view an iPad hands-free in bed.

Q: When i attach my ipad, it droops down, so i cannot put it at any angle i want. any idea how to fix this? i have tried tightening the white circle.

I found, I had to figure exactly where I wanted my iPad, so the The white circle was at a 90° angle to the back. After I did this, I had to slowly manipulate the metal tubing. Basically moving the metal tubing, not rotating the screen on the white circle.

Q: Can the c-clamp on the bottom be removed? i'm trying to find a clamp that i can remove the c-clamp off and replace with a different clamp. thanks.

It looks like the ring nut at the base of the clamp can be removed, but I have not had a need to try. It is on really tight,so any attempt to loosen it will require a vise and could leave some marks on the nut.
