Heavy duty jack with a couple of small issues.
Jack is well built and appears to be of good quality and is heavy; However, I had 2 issues:1. One of the 4 mounting screws did not have a "hex head" on it so I had to go to the hardware store and get a replacement screw.2. The mounting plate (part that is welded on the jack) has 6 holes but the matching bracket straps that shipped with it only had 5 holes so I had to drill the 2 missing holes in order for it to fit my 3" x 3" frame tube. These were not major issues but I wonder about the quality control when obvious issues like this were overlooked.I am using this on a motorcycle trailer and this is overkill weight-wise but the light duty swivel jack that I had was a pain to use because of the time it took to manually hand crank the darn thing up and down. This jack has the mounting plate low so you can mount it to the trailer frame in the vertical position but it mounts high so that it is up and out of the way when in motion so no need for it to swivel. If you need a roller wheel to move the trailer around, this one can be modified to use a standard swivel wheel available from Northern Tool: You have to cut off the flat foot plate from the drop leg and then drill a new hole in the drop leg so that a screw or quick disconnect pin can be used to hold the swivel wheel on the end of the drop leg. The drop leg of this SeaSense jack is 2-1/4" square which is what the Northern Tool wheel mates to. I modified mine and use a quick disconnect for the roller so that I can take it off once the trailer is hooked up to the truck. With roller wheel removed, the drop leg and extension tube can almost be fully retracted and almost flush with the bottom of the trailer frame. No need for the jack to swivel either. Northern Tool also sells a flat foot plate too so you can have both the wheel and the plate if you need them.

First One Didn't Work
I got a dud. The square steel bushing that is supposed to stay in place so that the handle stays in place, won't stay in place. The internal gears won't stay meshed and the handle just flops around. It won't jack up with any sort of load on it.I'm guessing the bushing is supposed to be swaged or welded in place or something? Anyways she's pretty girthy for a cheap jack, so I'm returning it for a replacement and I'll update this review when I get it. Hopefully the next one got a look over at the factory.Edit: Amazon decided to give me a full refund. I'll probably just break out my welder and weld the bushing in place. It's a sturdy jack if only it worked properly.

Strong high lift jack with a poor handle design.
Was looking for a jack that would lift my boat up high on a slanted driveway far enough that water would drain out the back, but would still be sturdy. This jack does that nicely. My only issue was with the handle. The handle broke off from the crank arm the first time I tried tweaking it a little to line it up with the hitch. The handle actually bolts on to the crank arm, rather that having a one piece Z shape with a handle on the end. I called the manufacture and they sent me a new handle, no charge. It did not fit correctly so I decided to take the handle off the Fulton jack I was replacing and install it on the new jack. It was a perfect fit. Used the gears from the new jack and Z shape handle for the old jack. All is good now, but I should not have had to do that.

Lasted 2 years in Hawaii being used 5x a week commercially on my trailer
I just sprayed on some white lithium grease to keep it from rusting and its held up better than any other jack I have used. I finally started feeling some of the teeth giving way but I barely greased it and used it a LOT. Often 4 to 5 x per week. I will be buying a new one now. -Nick

NOT a cheap knock off. This is a quality product priced below it's competition, and every bit as solid!
Because this was less expensive than the competitor's jacks, I assumed it was a lighter duty, lesser quality jack. I was wrong. This is a very heavy duty, durable jack. I am pleased beyond expectation.

Heavy Duty
Good product for the money. Heavy duty and the grease fitting is nice to have.
