I owned a previous version of this product, and this substantially improved it. In the earlier version you put the device in the CD slot and prayed it does not come out While driving with your iPhone attached magnetically to the mount. I lived with that for over five years. And then one day it flew out and hit the center console, and cracked in two. I never realized it was able to do that.Regardless I then went shopping again. I didn’t know this product had been improved and was re-designed. I tried another version which clamps a grip over the phone while it’s mounted with stickers to the dashboard. That was terrible.So I went back to research on Amazon for a solution. And this product is 100% the right product for everyone. The key difference is they have a little Plastic screw that when you turn it, it tightens somehow inside the CD holder so now It cannot even be removed until you Un-tighten that plastic screw. So for about $15 you get a 100% perfect solution if you have a CD player. Problem 100% solved. At low-cost. What could be better?Incidentally, if you’ve not used a magnetic mount before, you likely have to find a way that your iPhone magnetically attaches to the magnet. And as I recollect iPhone’s casing is not itself adequate metal to be held magnetically. I could be wrong. But I had to find a solution because I put a leather casing around my iPhone. And that clearly was not going to allow it to magnetically attach. So five years ago, with the earlier version of this product, I bought a 3M magnetic set of strips. You cut one to size, and then just peel the backing off the magnetic 3M strip, and place it entirely on the back of your iPhone. This way every time you get in your car, you can affix your iPhone with one motion and it will always stick to the magnet on the mounting arm of this device.PS The only downside is anytime you want to change your CD in your CD player, now you have to unmount this. So I do change my CDs periodically, but not frequently enough that this bothers me. So this would be the downside of owning this product. But it Un- mounts within 5 to 6 seconds. So it’s not a significant downside.

Fits well in the CD slot but my phone constantly falls off. I have another brand that attaches to my vents in another car and no issues there but this one needs a stronger hold. I would not recommend. (iPhone 7plus)

This is the perfect phone holder. I have tried different suction brands and with the heat down here in Florida, they would always fall off. Having this in the CD slot is in the perfect spot. Having the magnet inside my phone case really keeps the phone in one spot. It allows you to move it in different directions. Love it, I give it 100 stars

Good quality, a but difficult to install in a Land Rover but after push a little but it is well installed.

Could be a little more rigid to eliminate phone movement on rough roads
