Tiny powerful system as work station with affordable price.
Awesome tiny little system. You can make it a very powerful system as long as you put right parts in it. You definitely can't fit power GPU in it due to limited PSU. But, it's quiet and tiny as a powerful work station. Totally love it.

Good value for basic performance.
I wanted to upgrade the old PC I had built for my parents. Found an i7-9700 on sale so I figured I would drop it into this machine, along with the two 4gb DDR4 SODIMM sticks of RAM and I'd be good to go. Moved the SSD off the old PC directly over to this little box, no prep, and it booted right up.The listing wasn't clear on this, but this product does indeed come with an Intel AC 3168 wifi card with external antennas. There's also bluetooth built in on the motherboard.I didn't have to upgrade the BIOS version for Intel 9th gen support, as it was already on version 4.40, so the i7-9700 is working fine, even boosted up to 4.4ghz before throttling back down to 3.00.I would recommend installing the drivers for the audio and wifi before moving your boot drive over from your old build, as my audio and wifi was spotty until I installed fresh drivers. The motherboard is a H310M-STX.The size of this PC is surprising, it's about half the size of a Nintendo Gamecube, and it's still able to fit an Intel stock CPU heatsink with fan. This also means that the PSU is an external brick, which limits portability if you care about that sort of thing for a mini PC.I have two cons for this product. The first would be the lack of USB ports. It does have the option to expand USB ports by using additional components if you want to fork out the extra money. The second is the size of the external power brick supplied with the kit. It's about twice the size of your average laptop power brick.Overall, I'm really pleased with this barebones kit. It had everything I needed, just supply a CPU (with integrated graphics), RAM, and a drive with an OS on it and you're good to go. I haven't stess tested this PC with the components I installed, nor do I plan to. It was meant for basic productivity/web browsing and so far it has excelled at it. Note: didn't test the microsd slot on the motherboard, nor did I test the m.2 2280 slot either as I used a SATA3 SSD.

works great for what it is
Picked this up to operate a laser engraver and to print packing labels. Put a 9th get i3 in it and 8gb of ram. So far it has worked like a champ. It can even run my CAD software which requires a bit higher of a spec to run well. I paired it up with a Samsung SSD and a cheap 1080 monitor. I also opted for the USB port upgrade cable that lets you put 2 extra ports in the side. with that in there it was kind of a pain to get the cables routed and installed, but not terrible. Install of everything was easy to do. It fired right up. I had my kids load Windows 10 on it while I was at work. They also loaded Fortnite on it as well and were able to play and were rather impressed on the performance give the integrated graphics and i3 processor. I wouldn't recommend using this for that sort of thing, but it was interesting to see what this little guy could do. Over all I am well please with it and will probably build another one for dedicated use as a shipping only computer as these are a solid deal for the money.

They didn’t want you to know this
This is why I bought this barebone system. I wanted a system that I could run multiple VM’s on.I purchased this system16GB SO-Dimm RAM480 Gb SSDINTEL 9th gen 5400 processor (6 core)Small flash driveNoctua LH-n9i fanInstall ESXi server on to the flash drive and place that flash drive on one of the back USB ports. Works perfectly. I chose to run an Ethernet cord instead of installing the wireless card which COMES with this system. Also take note that I did not attach the included cable that comes with the fan from Noctua which essentially cuts the RPM of the fan in half. The system runs cool which lets you run it for longer periods of time. It being a server in my case you would likely be able to run this 24/7 even though it’s not server grade hardware and that’s possible because of the cooling.I have been told to do a Ryzen card (this would need the other barebone system model) which makes sense but I have more experience with VMware /ESXi server being compatible on intel chips. It works fantastically and reasonably priced. Shout out to my stimmy for making this happen.

Built $300 BLAZING Gen 8 machine with this
Needed something cheap but this all seemed as easy as purchasing a refurbished computer and loading Windows 10. I was wrong, this was so much faster and easier than the alternative. Wifi that comes with is solid, comes with two antennae. M.2 SSD had no issues. Spent zero time in the BIOS which is a nice change of pace. I cannot speak to many caveats here. My technician had an issue finding the CPU fan plug (there are two and they're right at the bottom toward the left looking at this with the front facing left and back facing right). My technician has very little experience putting hardware together, this project was super simple for him and built up his confidence. Good deal, would purchase again. Is it not funny that we still look at Asus and Gigabyte etc as the brands to beat? I believe I've had fewer issues with Asrock over the years, not sure about anyone else.
