Screw Thread Gauge | Metric and SAE | Recommends Drill Bit & Tap Size (BCP675)

I was looking for inexpensive gauge for small metric bolts. I was leary about this one but now that I have it, it is great. I is plastic but it does have threads. As long as you are careful with it, it should last a long time. I'm very happy with it because it measures down to very small bolts. Worth the price, for sure.

Some sort of hard plastic. Seems to be durable but be gentle and don't use any kind of lubricant as that might tend to dissolve it or otherwise damage it. That's a caution, I don't have any experience of it failing. likewise be cautious with any sort of cleaning chemical, try not to use any or expose it to any. Also avoid UV light and sunlight for extended periods. It's quite accurate so you shouldn't need to force anything, if the screw doesn't fit easily and snuggly it's the screw that's the wrong size, damaged or badly made.

Item is hard durable plastic. it has required holes for drill / tap sizes inch and metric. 1/8"thick.

Works well for what it is, but it needs directions to tell you what everything it does. It is two sided and if you don't know everything there is to know about screws, nuts, and bolts, it is hard to use. I purchased this item to separate screws that were in a big pile, that I had received from a friend.

Works like it should. Good value for the price. Easy to use
