Just what was needed for my distiller.
These filters appear to be what's needed for my tabletop distiller. I haven't used it in a long time, so I haven't purchased filters. I was happy to see them readily available. However, the original carbon filters were much bigger and had much more of the charcoal material inside. They were from Sears. I would prefer the better quality, but I guess a lot of products have changed over the years. Would buy them again.

Works well for the use...universal
All charcoal packet are created equal. These are small and universal. Large quantity for a very good price. I use my distiller to make 3 gallons then change the filter.

Less plastic towards the dump
This filter (folded) fits perfectly in the filter plastic casings of the cat water fountains I currently own. I had to trim the short ends and pry the plastic casing open. I am glad I found this... :-)

Less charcoal and enclosed in thin paper.
These are supposed to have more charcoal per pack and they don't have as much as any I've bought before. Also, the charcoal is enclosed in a thin paper, not the sturdy mesh that I am used to. I haven't used them yet, but I'm not hopeful that I will be happy with them.

These work perfectly for my water distiller
I have a βMophornβ brand water distiller. I also got it from Amazon. I was reluctant to buy charcoal packets for it because the reviews seem to be so mixed. I went with this brand because it was affordable, but not sketchy looking like some other ones. I have no complaints so far. Each charcoal packet is individually wrapped, which might use extra plastic, but I think it contains any charcoal powder much better like that. Switching to parchment paper packets might be a better alternative, though. The setup was simple, and one packet fits perfectly in my water distiller. I do fold it in half first. I will be repurchasing this brand in the future.(Also, for anyone wondering like I was - you need charcoal for a water distiller because V.O.Cs (volatile organic compounds) pass through distillation because they are so small. MTBE, PCE, and Trihalomethane are very common ones. The charcoal catches them in the final step.)

A little too small.
Using the Megahome water distiller, i decided to try these packets after I ran out. Maybe the water from my faucet is extra hard, but I have had to use TWO filters in my nozzle. I replace my packet(s) every month as well as clean my tank the same time every month. I had the stock and Green Piece filters before and i only need one of those. After having these they are noticeably smaller (obviously if I could put 2 in the nozzle as opposed to the 1 of the other brands). For the same price as other I will likely not get these again as I went through a "year" supply in 6 months.

These work great in my Megahome distiller
At first I was concerned that these would not last long or that they had too little carbon in each pouch to do the job. But I was pleased to find that they removed the metallic flavor that was coming through the distiller when I didn't use the activated carbon pouches. I briefly misplaced these filter pouches during a move, so I ordered another batch. Great product!

Tiny
I expected these to be bigger. I had to use 4 at a time in my water distiller. This really decreases the cost-effectiveness.

Make sure you get what you paid for.
Only received a a small box of 6 and paid over $70.00. I had to put 1 star because you have to put something.
