Easy install and works as described
Very well made and intuitive in use. Enables maximum use of solar power without having to check levels and switch over manually. Also protects batteries from over discharge.

Clever, but it does have some issues....... Read on!
Unlike most Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) that switch over to an alternative power source when the existing power source ‘fails’, this ATS switches over automatically at your chosen pre-set voltages. An example......... When the Solar Battery voltage drops to say 12.0 volts, it will automatically switch to Mains (Grid) A/C Power thus protecting your LifePo4 Batteries from being completely drained and/or or the LifePo4 Battery BMS shutting down the power. Then when the Solar Panels have recharged the Batteries up to say 13.0 volts, it will automatically switch back to Solar Power…….. Easy! This makes it an ideal ATS for a small Solar Panel (PV) System, as it reduces the risk of your LifePo4 storage batteries from being completely discharged.Negative and notable points......Despite this ATS being rated at 1100 watts, it does have voltage and power (watts/amps) limitations depending on your specific setup. In my 12v Parallel PV System, the recommended limit is 600 watts/50 amps. The intuitive design of this ATS does have some notable flaws, some of which could cause major safety issues……The internal relays are mechanical and there are no apparent safeguards/circuitry should a relay or a power source fail (which they can). The terminal block and screws on the front on the ATS is not covered or protected, they are therefore live and some will have 230 volts available for little fingers or metal tools to touch. In my humble opinion (and this is what I ended up doing), the safest way to use this ATS is to have the secondary power source as a backup LifePo4 Battery or Batteries, rather than the mains grid. Given the lack of safety circuits as shown above, this will ‘reduce’ the risk of damaging your Inverter, any safety issues with the grid and/or the risk of fire.

Excellent item, seamless switch between sources, battery voltage measurement quite accurate
I run my computer equipment via an Inverter run from Solar/Battery and bought this to automatically switch to mains power when my Battery runs low.It has been flawless. I never notice when it switches to/from the Inverter. The only extra that I would like is remote access to see the state. Not a biggie as the rest of my kit is Victron and so I can see the Battery and Inverter status via the Victron Connect app/VRM.

Fantastic device
Not straight forward to wire but once you get your head around it it's easy enough. But it's a fantastic device to save some cash on electric and save your batteries

This item dead on first runWith the LV switch set to 12.3v and the HV switch set to 14v the unit is switched to inverter with a battery voltage at 12v and will not switch to grid no matter what you do with the cut out and cut in settings. It was lucky I noticed this as it would have wrecked my £1000 battery bank by running it completely flat. Also it is not very smart as you can set it up to work but if you forget to switch your inverter on it will still switch to the inverter input even though the inverter is off thus leaving whatever appliances you need to run with no power. This is not a Smart device it is nothing more than a simple voltage controlled switch that will not check if there is voltage at the inputs. Now it has let me down I will not be replacing it, it will be returned for a refund and I will be buildingmy own with all the safety interlocks in place. In my opinion this is a good idea that has not been very well thought through and is left open tofar to many errors on the part of the unit itself and the operator. (Over Priced For What it Does)

Very good addition to our system
Really happy with this . Our previous inverter was damaged by an electrical storm. We have a battery system for back up when the power goes off which happens quite often in Ghana. We were using one which didn't have a mains power facility. Adding this one has meant we now use solar power to charge the batteries but utilise the mains power at night or for heavy duty items like our pump. The settings took time to work out ie the high and low power to work efficiently and ensure the batteries still have enough power if there is a blackout but we got the balance right and now we are making good use of solar power for the first time.

Top item
Item is a must for solar installations works a treat.Easy to configure, I don't need to worry about my storage battery going flat. Auto switch over mains.
