Foam Blaster AC Coil Cleaner for AC Unit | No Rinse Formula for Evaporators & Condensers | Neutral Citrus Scent

I used these on a mini-split that has three interior air handlers and a single exterior unit. My application consumed only two and a half cans. The units I was cleaning were not especially dirty. I purchased these as part of a kit that included the cleaning curtains with the drain tube. This was my first experience performing this procedure and was impressed with the results. The product was dispensed as a penetrating stream that effectively adhered and foamed up upon impact, while emitting a mildly scented fragrance. I rinsed everything with clear water through a spray applicator. Encompasses an economically great value and the satisfaction of a successful DIY project.

This was incredibly easy to use and worked magnificently. Since cleaning my air conditioner coil, my system has been running much more efficiently. I only needed one bottle, the directions were easy to follow and the whole process took less then 20 minutes with about 5 minutes of active work time.

The nozzle arrived permanently bent at about 45 degrees and about10% of the foam dribbled out on the can and on my hand while spraying. Otherwise it worked well. Good foaming and cleaning action.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This worked really great on my standing portable AC unit. Because I have a condenser unit, I didn't need to wash the coils after I sprayed them. I just wiped the runoff underneath the coils after spraying, put my unit back together (so many screws!!) and I was back in business. My AC unit smelled awful before, but the moment I turned it on the smell was gone. Plus, the new citrus smell was pleasant and only lasted for the first day, and now it just smells like fresh clean air! Highly recommend.

Works great but make sure you buy enough. Thought I would only need one can for our 3 ton condenser but needed two full cans. Have a mini split with a much smaller condenser and one can was more than enough but glad I ordered the 3 pack to finish the job for both. Follow the directions and rinse the coils well.

Ok on my rv my coils were so plugged when It got above 90 the ac would trip my breaker so it was plugged three cans later and yes rabbit of a mess its 90% clean no breaker issues its cooling well now mine was an extreme plug so if it was done once a year as maintenance i can see how it would work well regardless its a good product be sure to turn you breaker off before using just in case great product easy to use

Pros: It works wellNeutral: Maybe it could be less expensiveCons: NoneBefore you spend a lot of bucks for a high-pressure salesman to clean your coils, give this a try. I recommend soaking the coil with dawn and water for a day or so and, if you have an air compressor, blow them out. Also, use a thin blade to straighten out the fins...I know it's a lot of work, but, believe me, it is worth the effort. THEN, when you spray this on you will be impressed with how much more it cleans out..in our case the fins are a shiny as new. Now, this ain't cheap and that's why I did a lot of prep; BUT, it is worth the work and the price.
