I was a little unsure about this because of the bad reviews. But trust me, buy this! It takes a little while to heat up but it makes the cotton candy really fast! I recommend this to everyone. I've used this about 5 times and it worked great every time! The cleaning process is SUPER easy, all you do is run it under hot water, the sugar melts right off. I was really worried that it might catch on fire because some people said that it did, but so far mine hasn't. I used it for over an hour one time and it started to smell like burnt sugar so i stopped. But it can run for a long time! Great product!!!!

My family loves this. It's so easy to clean and overall easy to use. It took a couple tries to get my timing right with spinning the cotton candy sticks, but now it's really fun to use. My kids love picking different flavors to try. It takes 10 minutes to warm up to use, but then it's quick after that. I love the old fashioned cart base also. I took one star away because every time we use it there's a lot of sugar left in the machine and I haven't been able to figure out how to prevent that. But definitely get this. It makes movie nights so special and the price is perfect.

So at first this seemed like a fun lil gadget. Followed every step and right out of the box made a few “batches”. A couple days later got it back out and used it the exact same way I did the first time and it caught LITERAL fire. Flames coming out from the underneath of the center centrifuge space where the sugar goes. I was using cotton candy floss sugar so nothing strange. I unplugged it immediately tried to blow out the the flames which was difficult since the center of the device only has a small opening where you’d want to get in to extinguish the fire. I picked it up whisked it across the kitchen and straight outside to the porch wall. I was legit shaken. Don’t buy it it’s absolutely not worth catching your house on fire for or someone getting hurt. There was no time to grab the phone and get a video but I wanted to leave this extremely important info to help anyone else from finding themselves in danger. The issue with the machine is that as it spins the sugar some of it clings to the centrifuge outside edge then drips down into the center through the small opening and into the heating element which in turn lights the sugar on fire. You can’t get into that area to clean it either without completely taking the unit apart which it tells you in the book not to do so major design flaw for sure. Buyer beware of you read this and still decide to purchase it.

Bought for granddaughters 10 th birthday.Nice quality for price. Easy to use. Impressive how easy it is to use. Also purchased the colored sugar and it makes professional looking cotton candy.

The price of 40 with tax. It is meh, It’s okay. Wish it was 20.Pros:- it does make cotton candy- has suction cups at one side of the stand to hold it in place- the stand is adorable- comes with all the items stated- can take off the spinning candy melter top and hand washCon:- when using this you must have patience of a saint to use this product, it takes a very very long time to build up heat and spin the sugar.- By the time you finish your second cotton candy, the first person already wants another one.- You need to have that clear plastic cover, because if you don’t the sugar can and will throw sugar weapons at you.- If you are a person who like to have everything nice and clean… be careful the bowl has a little plastic that creates tiny space between the heating, leaving a little gap. Sugar might fall through and you would have to clean it with a wet wipe.- there a gap between the spinner and the heating system, cotton candy can seep through. So be careful.
