Just what I wanted, display is nice and clear and beeper is quite loud. Also like the fact that you can set timer for say 30mins and it remembers it for next time as well, whereas some timers you have to reset time each time you use it.

It's surprisingly small, but I'm sure we can live with that. Put the battery in,... it's a swine to get the battery cover off though. There it is, waiting to be used. Don't want it this minute though, so turn it off.....off? What no on/off switch? How long will a AAA battery last? Don't want to take the battery out, when not in use, as it's so difficult, and, I don't want a AAA battery rolling round in the kitchen, when not in use. Probably replace it sooner rather than later. (Just lost a quality mechanical timer, because it kept stopping. Now I've got one that won't stop if I want it to.)UPDATE: Came back to it awhile later, to find it turns itself off, when not working for a time. How long? No idea.
