Swr meter for Ham and CB radio
Arrived as described. Not seeing any issues with this meter, price was good.

Swr meter
Seemed to be of good quality. I ended up returning as I didn’t realize it did not measure CB band frequencies.

Works great!
I needed to check the power output and SWR on my GMRS radio in the Jeep after installing a new antenna. It was easy to calibrate, and even easier to use. BTW the antenna (that I purchased on Amazon) works great too.

Seller LIES in product description
I have high end digital power and swr meters in my shack but in my truck I have my ham radio and still run a chicken band for when I am traveling in the highway. The seller states this device is capable of covering ham UHF, VHF, as well as CB. It has Zero capabilities on CB. Doesn't even recognize any signal when connected to CB radio. So in this application the device is completely useless and that was the only reason I purchased this device because I thought it would be nice to have one pwr/swr meter that could stay in my truck permanently. Well, my intentions were solid but because the SELLER LIED about the product abilities, I definitely wasted time and money. The unit has no instructions included, but it is a power and swr meter, not rocket science for use. Then when you switch it to set it doesn't zero out. Zero becomes anything between 1.5 and 3.0 with no access to adjust the needle to Zero. Then in VHF testing swr the needle continues to bounce from 0 to the far right side of the case. In UHF the needle just sits and shakes in place as if it's having a seizure. To make sure it wasn't my radios I took my mfj-849 meter to the truck and checked my system with it. Everything came out perfect and radio is good. Then I used my Astatic PDC1 on the CB. A couple fine adjustments and it was business as usual. So after taking multiple devices to do what I was hoping 1 device could do I confirmed that the unit being sold here is a complete waste of time, money, and effort. The seller lied and is obviously clueless to what they are selling. Seller also showed that the unit, if purchased in the next 25 minutes, would be delivered next day. Once again, as several stores in Amazon seem to do anymore, took over a week to even get the device to the carriers office for delivery. So between the seller not having a clue about the device they are selling, and lying about delivery time, I found myself completely disgusted with the device itself and the professionalism of the seller. I am Never purchasing from this seller again and I highly recommend no one waste your time and money on this apparent POS meter.

Works to check VSWR but ultra basic
Works to check both UHF & VHF GMRS and HAM radio antennas to ensure optimum transfer of power from radio into antenna radiating element. Was able to tune a GMRS mobile antenna OK. Reason for deducting 2 stars is because build quality is marginal. Slider switch to Set forward, check Reflected, and Power really poor alignment within the metal box. Not sure Power reading is accurate. What it does do is provide a cheap quick & dirty (no frills) way to check VSWR. Looking inside to see circuit board quality. It works, but glob soldered and not neat. Got this on sale; so OK for what it is, but honestly, if you want some accuracy, suggesting to spend more and opt for a better meter. If I were to buy another VSWR instrument, I'd get the digital or cross needle meter.
