Q: Will this replacement work for a n97xE?

Hola, as the original one is not longer available i made myself the very same question so i got 1 to test ... it will do the job pretty decent, it works, the response is decent, but on high frequencies is uh how to say not very good ... by high i mean very high freq, so in it works. i have issues with a few records but for such cases i have another n97 brand new, just for special occasions. after the test stylus i ordered 4 more as spares. the 1st one is still in use more than a year of use (avg 8 hrs a week).

Q: Will this fit a Empire S2000E cartridge?

No, it is for the Shure M97 cartridge only.

Q: Can this be fitted to the original Shure M97xE? If that can be fitted to original Shure M97xE, then will that sound as good as original Shure M97xE?

It will sound very close to original but might not last as long as original Shure that's why is $30 not $150.

Q: What is the contact shape of the diamond stylus? Is it the same as the original (elliptical, bonded)?

Diamond tip with a .0002 x .0007 elliptical radius.
