I can't remember how many head torches I have had but they all seem to end up in the bin when either I get fed up buying batteries or the elastic headband breaks or stretches beyond recognition. So I bought this one. So far it has worked without fault and projects a clear, bright light and has several options (most I will never use) and fits onto my head well and doesn't slide down or move sideways (yes, I've had them do that too). So, with a secure light illuminating the way and hands free it makes life easier. Battery life is really good and once depleted it doesn't take long to charge the torch up again. However, now that summer is arriving, the torch will get very little use and I'll have to see what next Autumn brings in the way of bringing it back into use.

Holy smokes this is bright. Replaced a very old unit and its like walking in daylight. Didnt realise it had a sensor mode which caught me of guard at first (didnt read manual) . Insanely bright and the band is comfortable. Battery life seems solid and is rechargeable which i prefer over having to have batteries. The red light is bright to preserve night vision

Appears well made and works as described. The brightest setting for the white light doesn’t form a beam to it doesn’t penetrate far on dark dog walks. However for close in its adequate to light up where your walking. The head band is wide enough to be comfortable with plenty of adjustment and it’s small enough to be stuffed in a pocket. I’ve been using it for over a week so far and the charge seems to be holding. All in all I’m pleased with this purchase.

I often have to fix things, wire something with the power off, or need to check something outside, and having a Head Torch means you have light, where ever you look, and whilst keeping your hands free.There seem to be many available and this one read well and, at under £10, seemed to fit the bill.It arrived with some charge, but I charged it up (which took 20 minutes) and used it to wire up a junction box in the garage. The light is extremely bright and stayed that way for the duration of the job. Its also very comfortable to wear and after a few minutes, you don’t notice it.There are multiple modes, its lightweight, and waterproof. Recommended.

Blukar Head Torch Rechargeable (£9.99):I haven't used it too much, but the build quality seems quite good.It's size is good for all h and sizes. From my size 60, to my kids smaller heads.It has 2 switches. 1 has 2 functions (solid red and solid white). The other has 4 functions (solid white, flashing white, solid red, flashing red).We use it to go to the bins around the side of the house where there's (currently) no light, and it illuminates the whole area. So, it's great for this purpose.
