Glass Noodle Bean Vermicelli with Mung Bean 100% Wt 40g (1.41 Oz) X 6 Bags

Simply delicious!

This is my second order for these "noodles." I really love them. I didn't think anything could replace "pasta" but these certainly do. I use it for soup, or cover with any type of sauce or any place you would use a pasta type product.

First, ignore the photo - it's completely inaccurate. These are small packages of glass noodles that, once cooked and expanded, easily make enough for two large salads with a protein and some vegetables, Thai style. The wait was long if you're used to receiving things within a couple of days - but IMHO, well worth it. They're half the price of their nearest competitor, they taste the same and better. and I liked that they included a nice note in the packaging. I found them worth the wait, especially at the price, and will order more right after leaving this review.Regarding the directoins (which were a bit hard to find), I put mine in a small pot, covered with cool water, on a cold stove burner. Soakfor 3 minutes, sometimes turning with my fingers or chopsticks to "unstick" them. Then I turn the heat on high, put the cover on, and hit the timer for 6 minutes. Once they come to a boil, turn it down to keep boiling lightly. Pull them out at 6 minutes on the nose, drain and rinse with cool water. They keep fine in the fridge for cold salads for another 2 days. If you like your noodles softer, go for the 7 - but if you put them IN boiling water and wait 7 minutes, they'll get a bit mushy.I wish they were able to include a couple of home made recipes!

I followed the instructions for a stir-fry and put them in water for about eight minutes just one minute over the recommended and then threw it in with my shrimp, chicken and vegetables and it was amazing. I will never eat regular noodles again.

Really hard to find this brand in the market. A noodle has a good texture even afterreheat and great for thai salad but a little pricy.

the noodles are like any mung bean noodles, so not much to report as to flavor etc. we enjoy these in a stir fry as a change from rice. just put in bowl of hot water until soft. drain and add to the finished dish, mix in. I like that they are packaged in individual portions. Now i don't have to guess how much to use or be breaking off from a larger noodle ball, and getting broken pieces all over. just open pkg and add to water as many as you wish. pleased with this product.

I have bought several different glass noodles and these have been the worse. Edible but not great.

Is very tasty I used them in my egg rolls
