This thing comes with everything and steps to clean your dryer vents. It comes with different attachments for different vacuum cleaners. It worked amazing! Steps were easy to follow (this was my first time learning to do this.). I strongly suggest using a shop vacuum. The thing you need is a vacuum and a drill. Definitely worth the money!

The Dryer Vent Cleaner is a reliable product that helps keep my dryer vent clean and safe, saving me the cost of hiring someone else. The flexible rods make it easy to navigate through tight spaces, and the various attachments handle different types of lint and debris effectively. However, I found the rods can be a bit tricky to disconnect after use. Despite that minor issue, it gets the job done well, and my dryer now runs more efficiently. Overall, it's a smart investment for maintaining dryer safety on a budget.

So to preface this: if you read other reviews on here, some people claim the rods snapped in their vent and they had to retrieve the brush - I did not have this problem, but my dryer is also directly next to the outer wall with the vent going straight through, maybe 8 inches, so I only needed one rod to clean the vent itself and 2 for the short length of ducting that connects the dryer to the vent hole (which I just removed entirely and cleaned outdoors).That said, this did an amazing job: the brush fits easily into a standard vent and the rods screw together easily and easily attach to a drill with the provided adapter bit, and it takes no time at all to clean out even a VERY overdue vent/duct.The included shop vacuum attachments (which will also work with a decently strong regular vacuum in a pinch) make cleaning up the loosened lint and getting into the area under the dryer lint trap a breeze.Is it still a chore? Sure. But an easier one than doing the laundry itself was, honestly, and much cheaper than hiring someone to do it. Easy 5 stars from me.

I don’t write many product reviews , but I would give this product TEN stars if I could!I own an older vacation home, and over the years things have been modified to accommodate newer appliances.Case in point is my dryer vent.The dryer is the same model I have in my primary residence, which has had no issues drying clothes ever in the twelve years I’ve owned it. It’s a trouble-free workhorse that should last twenty+ years.The vent at our weekend place, however, hooks to the wall at an odd angle, and travels many feet to vent to the outside. Several awkward twists and turns along the way provide ample areas where lint and debris can accumulate.In the two years we’ve had this home, the dryer has never worked properly. It sometimes takes two or more cycles to dry a load of jeans, waaaay longer for towels.This gets expensive. It’s been enough of a problem that I’ve considered a clothesline.I always keep the lint screen cleaned, and had cleaned the outside vent cover, which helped a bit but not enough.I finally had the time while I was here to do a bit of research about dryers, and while I had tried cleaning the exterior vent, realized it was going to take tools I don’t have to really do a comprehensive and thorough job.This kit has been exactly what I needed! The photo shows what had built up in the vent between the inside wall and the exterior vent. No wonder it wasn’t drying the clothes!!!Using a power screwdriver/drill with the provided brush and extension rods, and inserting the brush into the exterior vent hole, I was able to clean the entire vent tube between the interior wall and the outside vent. I really was stunned at the amount of lint that was removed.I think this is something every homeowner should own. It can also be used to clean behind refrigerators.Considering the fire risk a highly flammable lint buildup can pose to your most valuable asset, and how often most of us use a dryer, this is an extremely valuable addition to the home toolkit.

Our dryer vent in this rental has been a thorn in my side due to how it's routed. Instead of the typical horizontal routing out to the side of the garage, whoever did the addition on this house failed to include a smart way to route the vent. This vent goes straight up 6 feet, and then jogs 45 degrees, then straight for 1 foot, then jogs another 45 degrees, and then another foor or so out to the roof cap.Having this kit with the custom lengths needed to bore through has saved me money on hiring a dryer vent cleaning company, and added the peace of mind knowing my dryer dries accordingly and doesn't accumulate lint as I include a dryer cleaning twice a year in the normal maintenance of the home.Included is a bendable stiff bristle brush that is great for snaking the lint trap, as well as a 4" duct adapter with a hole to put a vacuum cleaner in to suck the vent the other way.I highly recommmend this product to anyone who recognizes that cleaning your vent regularly not only saves money, but also prevents a dryer fire.

Great little cleaner worked perfectly and all the attachments came in handy for cleaning the lint trap out.

It's a bit kludgy requiring electric tape to attach the extension poles together. Thankfully my dryer vent extends out into the back yard so a 20+ foot pole can be prepped. But I worry something will come loose inside the dryer vent.
