Cheap on price, not value.

Great cutter. I use it on my plasma table. Replaced a much more expensive cutter with this one and happy I did so. Expendables are cheap and easy to get. This thing just runs. Happy to have it.

So glad I got this.

I have worked in or managed repair-fab shops all my life and I have done every welding procedure there is except underwater welding. Now bear in mind I have only used high end Miller or Lincoln products, so when I started seeing all the social media hype about inexpensive plasma cutters, well I was skeptical to say the least. After doing some research I opted to buy the YESWELDER 65 Plasma cutter to have in my home garage simply because I hate to pull out the Ox-Acc torches every time I need to cut something. Here are the reasons I chose it. #1, 65 amps of cutting power means it will cut faster and thicker material. #2, non contact cutting (Torch tip does not have to be touching the metal that your cutting). #3, the IPT-40 plasma torch is good quality and when you buy a consumable tip kit they are upgraded to the IPT-60 heavy duty style. #4. it can be used on 110 or 220 volts ( I use 220 because I cut mostly 1/4 to 1/2 steel) Now all that being said is it as good as a $4000 cutter no, but its real good for a under $300 cutter. Now I see some comments about the consumables being pricey but in the grand scheme of thing they are much cheaper than buying oxygen & acetylene. Make sure you order a consumable kit as you will need it. This is a great plasma cutter for any DIY guy-gal, or a seasoned pro on a budget.

Good plasma cutter

Great plasma cutter. Took it out of the box and cut some three-quarter steel to test it. Doesn’t cut clean through, but it will cut it. Cut half inch pretty clean. 3/8 no problem. 1/8 like butter. There’s a little attachment that goes over the nozzle that’s supposed to space the tip a little ways for the metal. For me it just got in the way and I tossed it out. One cutting thinner metal I pretty much just laid a tip on top of the metal. It cuts pretty fast so I just drag it on. I’ve been using this for a month now. I’ll update it as we go. See how long it last. Still working cuts great. I also had bought the 250 pro Welder. It works great also.

CUT-65DS Promising Features Marred by Inconsistent Performance

At first glance, this plasma cutter seemed to have all the features I was looking for. The digital displays were impressively bright and crystal clear, providing easy visibility of settings. Adjustments were intuitive and user-friendly, allowing for quick and convenient setup. The torch handle felt sturdy and of high quality, providing a comfortable and secure grip. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment when I began using the machine. Despite meticulously following the instructions, connecting everything correctly, and ensuring the power switch was turned on, the plasma cutter's performance was far from reliable. When I pulled the trigger, I anticipated a powerful plasma flame, but to my frustration, only a rush of air emerged from the nozzle. This lackluster result occurred repeatedly, with the plasma flame appearing a mere three out of ten times. The inconsistency in performance was deeply unsatisfying and raised doubts about the machine's overall reliability. It is disheartening to encounter such issues, especially when the machine showcased promising features. The bright displays and user-friendly adjustments, coupled with the high-quality torch handle, were overshadowed by the machine's inability to function consistently.Regrettably, I had to reach out to customer service in hopes of resolving the issue. They said it was a fluke and suggested getting a replacement. However, their proposed solution did not rectify the problem. Additionally, I noticed a substantial air leak inside the case of the second plasma cutter, further underscoring the quality control issues.Ultimately, I had no choice but to return both plasma cutters. Unfortunately, this experience not only wasted precious time but also caused significant delays in my project. It is evident that these repeated issues are not mere flukes but rather indicative of a larger quality control problem. In conclusion, while the bright displays, intuitive adjustments, and high-quality torch handle initially seemed promising, they were marred by the plasma cutter's inconsistent performance. I would caution potential buyers against considering this particular model, as the unreliability and quality control issues detract from its otherwise appealing features. Look for a more dependable option from a reputable brand to avoid such frustrations and setbacks.

Ok, so I am impressed.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose the Yeswelder 65DS PRO plasma cutter because it was a reasonably priced product that had decent reviews. I needed something that could cut the small stuff as well as the thick. I don't use it every day so I didn't think I needed a commercial brand so this was in budget.I will update my review if something comes up worth noting.Noise level:I did return the first one because of a noise inside the machine that sounded like air leaking through a bladder. The second one is quiet even when running.Voltage range:With a wide range, it allows you to cut thin and thick.Size:It's hard to believe there is so much cutting power coming from such a small machine.Power:With 110 and 220 capabilities, it is virtually portable.

Great for the price

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great plasma cutter for the price. Cuts 3/8 like a hot knife in butter. The original unit I received had a faulty air regulator but Amazon sent out a replacement quick
