I bought this extension dock stand in order to move a USB wifi adapter from the back of a desktop to on top of the desk so as to unmask the adapter. Three feet isn't much, but is long enough for my purpose. My only concern when ordering was if the body of the stand would allow most any USB device to be plugged in (wifi adapter, flash drive, etc...). A valid concern as I've had a couple over the years that were made to work with a specific product and as a result had recessed USB plugs. I'm happy to say this one does not fall into that category. The USB plug is mounted at the top and is easily accessible. I was able to move my USB wifi adapter up on top of the desk where it is not masked behind the computer case. Good little product that does what it is suppose to at an affordable price.

This is a quality piece and does exactly what I needed it to do. My laptop dock is pretty far away from my keyboard so this little gem makes it easy to plug in USB drives of all sizes or to charge my phone easily.I really like the small size, rubber overmolded construction, and the fact it has some heft to it so it won't tip over easily. Glad I purchased this one and I recommend for anyone looking for the same.

Purchased this to change the location of the USB receiver included with my wireless headphones. No change in functionality or reliability of the headset so far using this extension. Moving it from the back of the computer to the top of the computer did increase the range the headphone function at by a bit, so this does what it's supposed to. The base where you insert the USB device allows the transceiver to stand upright. Not sure if that helps or not, but it does look better than laying down. All in all, it does what it's supposed to at a decent price.

I'm using this to extend my USB wireless adapter so it's sitting on my desk. Works very well for that purpose instead of connecting it directly to my PC, which would be awkward to troubleshoot if I had to unplug/plug the device often. I don't think I'd us this for a thumb drive; because of its high profile when standing vertically it's a little top heavy and prone to tipping when connecting/disconnecting a USB device on a regular basis. But for a wireless USB drive that just basically sits still it definitely fits my needs. Shipping was very quick, the price was very good...overall a definite recommend for both the product and the seller.
