Good smart bulb with tons of features.
Good smart bulbs, easy set up with the app. App provides a lot of options and you can set schedules as you like or select pre-set options. Never had an issue as been using it for over year and half. Half the price of some major brands and outperform them in many ways. Change the colour and luminosity using the mobile app.

A no brainer
You can’t ever go wrong with Tapo products.So I bought 10 GU10 bulbs to go into the cinema room I’m building in the garden.So simple to set up on the Tapo app and I think it took me around 15 mins to do all 10.Amazing value, made of good quality and works well

Easy to use
These bulbs almost complete my transfer of all my home lighting to the Tapo system. Noting that Tapo do not sell E14's (small screw bulbs) here in the UK (Yet) soon as they do I will change those as well.The bulbs are easy to set up / group together if you have a several bulbs on one light, they work very very very well with Alexa.I have some bulbs set to come on and off at sunset / sunrise with the Tapo app, it automatically refreshes this time for you, so it's set once and like magic they will follow the sun time!These bulbs seem to be a sound investment, there are cheaper alternatives, but with these they have the ability to update new software and features, so you can keep them current with new features when they are released.The build quality is also very good. As for dimming, you can set this on the app, I find that at 80% the light is practically the same as 100%, but this makes them more efficient. If you need brighter (or dimmer) from this preset, you can just ask Alexa and she works her magic.Build quality gives me confidence in the lifespan, the brand gives me confidence that they have rigorously tested them, and some serious effort has been put in to that Alexa integration / compatibility.Conclusion, cheaper bulbs exist, but your paying for reliable software that makes them easy to use, easy to set up, easy to group and easy to operate. For these reason I recommend Tapo bulbs and would love to complete my lighting with the E14's and anticipate their arrival in the UK soon, hopefully!

Fantasic GU10 Smart Bulbs at a good price
Great GU10 bulbs from Tapo. Very easy to set up with the Tapo App which I already had set up because of other Tapo products owned (Cameras and Switches). It took about 2 minutes a bulb to set up and update. Lovely warm white light rather than a cold white light.I have them fitted to a track with 4 bulbs and I have been able to link them up with Alexa so I can either switch on as a group for all 4 to come on at the same time or control each bulb individually.I purchased the 4 pack to check them out and now I have placed an order for the 8 pack which I had to do through Tapo website rather than Amazon because I couldn't see the 8 pack on Amazon. Soon all of my kitchen lights will be smart!I think these are so much easier to set up than Philips Hue system which I also have and they are so much cheaper than Hue so what's not to like!

If there is any chance of a power cut, ever, do not buy.
These bulbs worked fine for a month. Then we had a power cut and now they don't.I'd read that the bulbs become unresponsive if someone accidentally turns them off at the switch so bought little plastic switch covers to prevent this. Didn't consider what happens in a power cut though.We lost electricity for about an hour this morning. Since then the bulbs have stopped being smart: they're entirely unresponsive. Have tried the troubleshooting steps on the Tapo website, and everything I can find online, but nothing helps. The only thing left to do is remove all the bulbs and delete them from the app (and Alexa) and then set them all up again from scratch, one at a time. All eight of them.A internet search tells me that this has been a problem for at least 7 years - multiple people with the same issue, including on Amazon forums. About time Tapo did something about it, I reckon.The annoying part is that the Tapo smart plugs we have are all fine. If Tapo can ensure they still work after a power cut I can see no reason why the bulbs can't do likewise.Notable too, that we have multiple Hue bulbs and they're all fine.Buy cheap buy twice, as the saying goes.

Better than expected.
Being new to smart bulbs, I had visions of spending hours trying to set up these bulbs and then either giving up in frustration or being sadly disappointed by them. I nearly returned them without even opening the box. But I'm so glad I kept them! Set up was straightforward with the Tapo app, the link to Google to control them was flawless and they are even better than I hoped, dimming and changing colour through voice commands or with the phone app. I can control all 4 bulbs independently or collectively, which is an unexpected bonus (they are in paired light fittings). They look fantastic and I am incredibly impressed and pleased with them. Highly recommended.
