V-Slot Bench Pin C-Clamp

The media could not be loaded. Good for my workshop. I used the top screw holes that are there for incase someone wants to mount it directly to their work bench, then I screwed it onto a piece of wood (just so that when I need to use my jewelers vise, I can mount it onto my regular workbench vise, (instead of using the clamp it came with because of my SMALL work table and tiny apartment. BTW I use your clamp for my leather sewing horse). My workbench vise that I already had, happens to be on a swivel, with a strong positioning clamp so I can position it how I need and save space while doing multiple crafting. I design things, so I also designed something (not pictured) for it to catch all metal dust and shavings underneath the jewelers vise while working because - I didn’t want that type of stuff going into my carpet and my dog sniffing anything dangerous. I don’t have a shop yet 😑. This is how I came up with the idea to make something to catch metal shavings. It’s also much easier clean up though! It attaches underneath the jewelers vise without getting in your way of working and you can attach either a small trash bag or a vacuum hose to the bottom of it. It’s brilliant if you ask me 🤣 I have to be creative in this small studio apartment.I give the jewelers vise 5 stars for durability and design. The jewelers V is great and durable. love all the detailed cuts on this V to work with! The clamp is okay, but definitely not junk! Like said only switched for space reasoning in this tiny studio- if it wasn’t good,I wouldn’t have used it on my leather sewing horse! All in all, Great value for the money 💯 Performs as should!!! 5 stars all the way!!!!!!

I was sent a very rusty piece & was able to get a replacement fast. The second one had just a tiny bit of rust in the corner of the clamp. Nothing I can't buff out. So I kept it. The integrity of the clamp is not hindered. The package was open at top. I assume to do a quality check? They have an issue with moisture at the warehouse apparently.The wood is nice. And exactly what I needed. I have yet to use it. But look forward to it.

If you are learning to cut metal for jewelry, this is excellent for a beginner Small, lightweight & easy to mount. Recommendation: Use a very small saw.

It's almost perfect, but... The description says "Item Dimensions 6.5" x 5" x 1". That's the dimensions of the BOX it comes in. The ITEM dimensions are 6" x 4" x 3/8"... 3/8" is pretty thin, 4/8" would be better, and 5/8" would be even better better, but it IS oak and the grain IS going in the right direction, so it should hold up fairly well, even if it flexes a bit. But... there aren't enough threads on the screw to clamp it to my 3/4" bench top. It clamps tight to my 4/4" table top but... it's as slippery as frozen hog snot and slides all around. I solved both of those problems by putting a rubber "sandwich" between the Bench Pin and my 3/4" bench top and between the clamp and my 3/4" bench top. Now it works great and no slippy. An almost perfect Oak Bench Pin for less than a tenner? I really shouldn't complain... But where's the fun in that? I'd give it 4 and 4/8 stars if I could.

Clamps right onto my work bench with ease. Its secures nicely without shifting. The wider flanks allow me to work on larger sized rings without issue. If I do happen to cut into the wood I don't have to worry about the blade sticking and/or breaking. I have yet to have ant issues with this clamp block.

Clamp fits my thick workbench with ease, the pin itself is sturdy. Happy camper.

Useful to me

I like this particular v-clamp because it has the different sized slots. It makes it very easy to cut intricate cuts and I am able to cut straighter lines using the smaller holes. I'm very glad that I made the purchase.
