Miracle spray!
I’m not sure how it didn’t work for people because it was a miracle on our pool wall! I used a hammer to break up the larger build up areas and then started spraying and watched it fall away. Definitely spray as many times as needed. I covered up some tough grout spots with the plastic wrap and will leave it for awhile now. Definitely worth every penny.

Does not work any better than muriatic acid at many multiples of the price
Tried this on a pool with medium calcification at the water line. Product foams when in contact with the Calcium Carbonate but does not remove it at all. I even tried applying the product and covering with plastic wrap for 1 hour, then for 12 hours, but absolutely no difference. Worse yet, I reached out for guidance from the manufacturer via their website and they completely ignored my question. So zero customer support. Finally, this was my SECOND bottle.. they use such cheap spray bottles that the first one had cracked and leaked out through the box during shipping and the trigger on the replacement bottle snapped off after about 10 squirts. Ultimately, the solution that worked for me was to use a paint mixer to (carefully, respirator, gloves & goggles) blend Muriatic acid with Guar Gum Powder. SLOWLY sprinkle in the Guar Gum Powder as you mix until the acid forms a thick gel, then use a thick nap paint roller to apply. Test it on a small area first. Let it sit for a few hours in the shade... it will skin over but is still working. Use a pressure washer (gently) to remove.

Works great but nozzle is awful
The nozzle is awful. It sprays fine but it pops off really easy. You have to hold it carefully or put it in a different spray bottle. Other than that it breaks down the calcium fantastically. Saves a lot of elbow grease and pumice!

Let the product set in a while. Like an hour or so and do multiple times.
We live in So. Cal where the water is harder than cement... The calcium builds on the back wall of our pool. I can have it sprayed with the salt pebbles for a few hundred dollars or use this product. It works for me and I am reordering it again today. It is a little spendy. You have to use a lot of it to cover and let set in. Not just a few minutes as in the instructions. I called them and that was the additional info I got and it works. I use a power washer to go in behind it. Good luck.

Hard to say
I bought this product as a last resort to clean my pool tile. I had already tried acid washing and different chemicals to take the scaling off. I’ve tried different textures of pumice also. This product came highly recommended, but it didn’t work for me. I’m not saying it doesn’t work, I’m sure it does for some people. There’s a guy online who applied this to pool tile, but he also left saran wrap over it for three hours. I did not do that. It may work! It’s disappointing that it’s so expensive though.

Fantastic product!
This product is absolutely amazing! We have tried many methods to remove the mineral deposits from out pool tile including straight muriatic acid and none compare to the Oceancare Calcium Releaser. We followed the recommendation in the video, you should watch that, to coat the effected areas with the product and cover with plastic wrap and that worked like magic. There will still be some scraping but it will be much easier than any other method we have employed. I would highly recommend this product to everyone and I know I will continue to use it for my needs as we have exceedingly hard water and the mineral deposits it produces are excessive. We also purchased the Glass and Tile Shield but have not used it yet so another review will be forthcoming.

Don't waste your money...get a pumice stone instead.
I watched the video on how to use this stuff. I sprayed it heavy on all the areas with calcium build up. I covered it with plastic wrap and let it soak. I did that several times for a day or two and came back and it literally did nothing. Maybe if you have a "haze" on your tile it may work but I can' tell you it does not work if you have actual calcium deposits. Also, the bottle is cheaply made. The spray handle kept coming off the bottle no matter how I tightened it (no I did not strip it). It made for awkward and frustrating work. We have glass tile and I didn't want to risk scratching it with a pumice stone....so I paid for this. Waste! I ended up using a pumice stone and it worked by far better than this product and is way cheaper. Don't waste your time and more importantly, your money on this stuff.

Helped me revive a nasty looking pool
My pool man let the calcium get away from him on the tile and it looked horrible. I tried just scraping it off but that was really hard to do. Happily some research led me to this product. It really helped me get the pool looking like new again. The buildup was so bad it still took a lot of work but it was noticeably easier using this. One hint - spray it on a small patch and work on that. not trying to do a massive section all at once. It will dry out before you get that large section done, and it works best if the area is still damp from the spray. I would spray a large area on Day 1 to try to start breaking down the calcium, as suggested in the instructions, then work in smaller sections on Day 2.
