I bought this fan because I knew the brand very well having purchased 3 of their air purifiers so knew the quality.As we have quite a large bedroom I opted for the 42 inch as it would cover further being taller. We have put this fan to one side of the room and it easily covers the whole room.As for being quiet enough to sleep with that is not a problem at all. Last few nights we have had it on level 3 with the sleep mode activated so the display lights are off.We cannot hear it but can certainly feel the cool air. It has great features such as automatic mode that will increase/decrease the flow according to the fluctuating temperatures.Not even got this on our Dyson fan that cost 3 times as much. Also the turbo feature is excellent as it cools the room quickly and drops down with the temperature.Yes you can buy blameless fans for less. But in my opinion this is well worth the bit extra as it is not only well built, quiet and very efficient it is also “ non juddery “ when oscillating which is something that cheaper fans tend to do. Give it a try.

Wow. This bladeless tower fan is big, bold, and very effective. I've had it for 3 days now (just hope all positives continue). Easyto assemble, just click the 2 sections of the base together, insert tower and lock in place with the threaded plastic ring. Easy remote controls and front visual temperature and fan speed. Really is virtually silent, even when experimenting with the highest of the 12 fan speed settings Back in the near distant past I was lugging the floor standing 20" fan on its 3 trip-hazard legs from garage to conservatory ; not anymore. When I don't need this it will stand proud in the spare room, ready for our next "summer". Wish though perhaps such a tower could incorporate a heat function, then it would be perfect all year round. Anyway, now using it on auto so it adjusts its air flow according to air temperature.As said, it is big, 42" , black front and white sides/back, but, well, it's a great "statement" which is fully functional, you just need 12" diameter space on a solid surface. So far, so good. Really pleased.

Just what I wanted, nice and quiet on low speeds. Turn it up high and it is noisy but it really shifts some air. The side to side oscillation is good if I need it, but the up and down is not impressive, the movement of the adjuster is such a small amount that fine adjustment isn't possible. I love the sleep mode, doesn't make me sleep but it is quiet and cooling.I'm very impressed so far, time will tell. Will it develop a rattle or other noises? Who knows, until then I'm enjoying a cooler bedroom.

Now I’ve had this for awhile I can honestly say it’s amazing. Love all the different functions (the controller is helpful) and the fan speed is everything you want and it’s still really quiet, looks good in the corner of the room. Mainly used during the summer but still use it now for a nice breeze anywhere in the house, will probably buy another one so we can keep one upstairs and one down. Really worth the money.

Been using this fan since last year. It's not heavy for its size but solidly built and looks good while being unobtrusive. Good features like sleep function too. Above all is its quiet operation. Sure it's louder on higher settings but even then it's not intrusive, and I've rarely had to use it above the lower settings anyway. It keeps me cool in a medium sized room effortlessly.This is because it does help you cool down with a steady wall of air. It won't cool a room like a/c but it will cool you!Another great feature is you can control the horizontal direction of flow too - if you have a dog like me they can share in the cooling effect because with the flow fully down so it points at the floor (dog), the unit is tall enough to still cool me if I'm sitting or lying down on furniture.I did have a technical issue with it recently but Levoit's customer support was very efficient and resolved in days. Great customer service from Chem.Would happily recommend this brand and fan.

Really good fan, extremely quiet and wide arc cools even large rooms easily. Love the variations in breeze settings, not too harsh even on the higher levels never feels like being pummelled like some other fans. The remote is very handy a definite bonus on hot days when getting up is a chore!
