Fascinating Project But with Poor Quality
Quality control appears to be a problem. I already had the red table with magnets and decided to get the black table without the magnets. The build for the first table went very smoothly. I had problems with the second table.Wire loops are to be secured into tiny slots in the top by tiny screws that pass through the slots and the loops. Of the 3 slots, two were drilled and tapped off-center so that the wire of each loop couldn't fit between the side of the screw and the end of the slot. I had to use a power drill to lengthen those two slots.Three "shuttles" are used in the bottom to control the tensions on the three wires attached to the top. Each wire is secured to each shuttle by wrapping it under the head of a screw in the shuttle. The threads of one of the screws (or the mating shuttle) were misformed so that the screw wouldn't tighten. Some trickery had to be used to secure that wire.

cheaped out on the single most important part
the central cable that holds everything together is the same strength as the 3 external cables.it insta-snapped on mine the moment I started tensioning the 3 external ones.I ended up buying a second one and that worked fine.So I might've just gotten a defective one, but still, the central cable should be way stronger as it has to oppose the other 3 cables by itself.
