Useful for other purposes
Bought the box spanner, not for its intended use but for useage on external garden gates. The spanner was ideal to use on large gate adjustable hinges. The tool allowed access to adjuster nuts and overcame the tight access caused by the hinge bracket. Turned an awkward job into an easy task. Basic, well made and ideal for tight areas

Just the job
This is fabulous, used to tighten plastic backnut (plastic nut that holds tap firm) underneath taps of bathroom sink. I tried other tools but they just did not work for me. One thing I would say, because I was tightening a plastic nut it didn't grip fantastically well for the final tight turns, i had to place towel on top of tool before slotting onto nut..... worked an absolute treat, no more swivelling cold tap, lovely and firm.

Cheap practical tool
Excellent value and does the job. Two sizes is helpful. Includes a tommy bar unlike other offers.Packaging is minimal which saves waste.

if I could give this a 1000 stars I would. AMAZING
Literally *REQUIRED* for changing taps, Seriously I did two taps in my bathroom, first time ever.. without this, was literal hell, MANY swear words were shouted, Removing OLD siezed tap nuts is in such a confined space is genuinely near impossible. Took 3 hours.. 3 hours!!!I got this as I needed to do another one, fitted perfectly.. same exact job, guess how long? 20 minutes. ALL due to this... (well and having some understanding on how its done now) But still. Worth its weight in gold.DO NOT CHANGE TAP FAUCETS WITHOUT THIS BEAUTIFUL TOOL! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

Strong. Useful for those traditional sink taps
I originally wasted money on one of those long, plastic, double-sided things that was twice the size and twice the bulk and didn't work. This, is large (155mm x 37mm) which is from your palm to the end of your fingers. But isn't heavy and fits perfectly over the tap nut (once you've removed the pipe, obviously). Study thickness, not a tinny 'might last a day' feel at all. Easy to turn with the handle and great for those old sink taps. Its the dog's backnuts!

A Very Useful Tool for fitting Taps
This is a nice easy to use tool. I used to struggle with ordinary spanners and wrenches but this makes everything straightforward and quick. Use the tommy-bar provided with the spanner, though - don't be tempted to apply extra leverage. It works well. Money well spent.

Does what it was supposed to do.
Handy, simple construction and it works perfectly.

Slips off brass
Great for reaching underneath sinks over threaded fittings and I managed very easily to tighten the hot tap which I had already changed with the new plastic nut supplied, however I couldn't change the cold tap cause it just kept slipping off the brass nut, same size, had to give up and undo it with an adjustable or it would have rounded off.
