These adjustable bed frame supports are really great! They are the ideal easy quick solution for my platform bed problem.I’m only one 200 pound person and this platform bed that I bought from Wayfair for about $750 is so cheaply made that within a few months I had cracked the side supports in three places. No jumping on my bed; no partner to double the weight load; no kids rough housing around to cause problems; it was just one person and yet this bed could not handle it.A couple weeks ago I propped up the side breaks with bed supports that I had to glue to the wooden bed frame in eight locations. It’s holding right now.However, when I flipped the mattress to make the repairs to the side, I noticed that my wooden center support slab had broken off from both at the top and bottom of my bed frame and was lying flat on the floor providing zero support.I knew I had to fix it (and soon!) because I could hear a creaking sound underneath my bed when I rolled on to the middle of my bed. Maybe some was in my imagination, but regardless I knew I had to repair it and the supports that I had used for the sides would not work for holding the wooden middle support slab erect and in the middle of the bed, especially as you need to secure the wooden middle support bar to something for it to stay up since the hinges on the top and bottom of the bed had broken off and could not be screwed back on.These adjustable supports worked perfectly. First, I repositioned the fallen center wooden slab into the proper position at the top and bottom of the bed. With the center slab standing tall it was pressed against the wooden bed slabs that run horizontally across the bed.Next, I adjusted the height of each support so that each one was raised up against the center slab, and the center slab was pressed up against the horizontal positioned ribs running across the bed.The black support bars were at an angle so that the long screws could hold both the center support bar and the horizontal wooden bar to each other.Then I used the long screws to run through the included metal plate and attach to the bolt on the other end and tighten. I actually ended up grabbing pliers to hold the bolt in place while I tightened the screw as much as possible.It worked really well and it was straight-forward easy, but I’m failing to explain it well enough. I think a couple of photos will be far more effective than anything I could write here in a few paragraphs.I hope the three photos show how effective this system works if you have a similar support problem with your platform bed or anytime of bed. I tried to take the photos from slightly different angles to provide the most bang for your buck. I hope this helps someone.

I bought these as my frame came with very flimsy wooden supports that ultimately fell off or broke off entirely. These supports were exactly as advertised - easy to adjust and easy to install! The result is a much more stable frame, and a bed that doesn’t move around at all anymore from my typical tossing and turning at night.

These work pretty good to stabilize beds, especially helps with sinking in the middle.

Very sturdy! Strong and easy to assemble. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who has small thin bed legs 😆

These do what they’re supposed to and they are user friendly. They stick out if you are using it on the actual frame. One of mine got bent while I was moving the bed-my fault, I should’ve taken them off before rearranging. They are not the nicest looking thing but they do add lots of support. The build quality is decent, especially for the price. I do wish instead of just one bar, it could be an X-Shape. And if they came with longer screws.

These are great. Bought a platform bed that didn't come with the slats. Bought some wood slats and installed them and used these on the inside. They are great that you can adjust the bottom easily and you don't have to screw into the wood slats. You can move them easily. I have a king bed and bought 2 sets, just for extra sturdiness.

Bought two sets (one four pack, one pack of two) and tightened them as much as I could. They did fine for about a month and then, after I moved my bed once to get something from under it, they completely folded and collapsed. Now all the t-bars are bent out of shape. Feels like a complete waste of money

I was surprised to learn that queen beds need center support. Just purchased new mattress and platform for old queen wood frame/head/footboard and found the slats were not nearly strong enough to support box springs or mattress platform. No center support at all. These supports worked OK alng center (I used 3) and seem well built. I had to drill holes in my wide slats to bolt these supports- not a big deal for me. Some advice however:- These supports have rubber bottoms which seem like a good idea to not scratch wood floors and for stability, BUT they will not slide when you move the bed. So when the bed gets moved you can be almost certain the supports will be pushed at an angle and will break when loaded down. Nylon foot pads would seem a better material to both slide and not scratch wood floor. Likely any support post on carpet will get bent out of shape if/when bed is moved. Be sure to get a helper and place platform and mattress straight down. Just the process of putting these down on my frame moved the bed and pushed one of the supports out of perpendicular position.- Install and adjust these supports BEFORE putting down the mattress on your frame. Much easier to adjust the screw foot.- Be aware that you will likely see the support added near footboard.- Once installed NEVER move your bed by sliding it.
