After purchasing a new Lincoln Navigator, I was disappointed that I could only connect to Android Auto via cable. The MASYA Android Auto Wireless Adapter was the solution I was looking for. This is a "must-have" for those who want the convenience of a wireless connection. I plugged it in and connected via Bluetooth. Done! It was super easy, extremely affordable, and much appreciated! Great product!

I purchased this for my Hyundai Elantra SEL because for SOME reason, Hyundai decided that the base trim gets wireless connectivity and wired only charging, while everything above it gets wireless charging but no wireless connectivity?Anyways, I got this to give myself wireless Android Auto. And it does just that, and quite well. As soon as I interact with my vehicle, the USB port receives power and everything begins to connect. By the time I'm settled in and ready to drive, I can pull up Android Auto without issue... Usually.I found that if I had to run out to my car to grab something while I was using Bluetooth headphones, it would rip the connection from my headphones and take over, connecting me to this device and popping up that I'm connected to Android Auto pretty quickly, as usual. I'd have to move away probably around 50+ feet before it would disconnect and I'd be able to use my headphones again.I also had issues if I used my car for a short, <10 minute drive, turned my car off to maybe run into a store, and then got back in. The device will disconnect when it loses power while I run into the store, but when I come back out, it refuses to connect again. I've had this happen several times in the past few months I've had this device, and have found that unplugging it for a few seconds is enough for it to fix itself.I also noticed a few times where the wireless delay randomly increased significantly (from maybe a second between pressing a button and my music pausing to a several seconds delay). Similar to the last thing, unplugging it for a moment fixed the issue.Aside from these intermittent (mostly based on myself) issues, this device works exactly as it should. Super easy to set up, too. The build quality might leave something to be desired, but honestly that's not why you're looking at this. It's got plastic housing and a decent enough cable that doesn't feel like it'll snap. I plan on getting some 3M tape and sticking it to a spot next to the port it's connected to so it doesn't move around.

Update:Pulling back from 2 stars to 1 star for their poor customer service.So you know how some things just don't seem right as soon as you open the package?It was a case for this device; I've always wanted wireless carplay because who wouldn't want to just leave their phone in their pocket and have GPS capabilities in your car right as soon as you turn the engine on?The MASAYA adapter does just that.. but mine came with a catch 22.I bought it when it got on sale for $24.99, and I received the item with the box open... OK. not a terrible start but definitely worrying. The package was nearly complete except for the 3M tape... OK... that's fine... I got my own double sided tape.Then I went to go install it, only to figure out... the adapter will ONLY stay powered on when you twist and pull the cable a certain way. You had to get the right amount of twist or else the adapter wouldn't get any power.Safe to say, not the biggest fan, but hey, at least it worked. I just have to let my front passenger know to not touch it or else the "world" falls apart... if the "world" was wireless carplay.Now, I'm sure if I had a NEW adapter, this problem wouldn't be present.If you get it new, expect it to work just fine. Works on a '22 Corolla.

I found the perfect cell phone mount for my car that also included proximity charging including hands-free phone mounting. I plugged it into my car USB connection but was unable to get Android Auto to connect wirelessly. This required yet another USB connection to work. I found this dongle and it appeared to be just the ticket. it was. I simply could not believe how easy it was to install being nearly automatic configuration. The price is awesome and the functionality it provides is simple something I'm not willing to do without at this point. it's also very small so it can almost disappear in the car interior.

I've been using this adapter for over a year on my 2021 Chevy Silverado and it hasn't given me any problems. I would buy again.
