The knife itself is well made, good look too, does its job very well, butter smooth cuts. I won't call it the best one I've used, but for its price, its very satisfying! Honestly, I expected it to have little carbon black tint in its colour, but it does not, which is a bit disappointing for me! I'm happy about the safety kit, and sharpening rod accessories coming free with this item, that are very useful. Overall very happy.

Congratulations to AMAZON, arrived before estimated delivery time, wish other suppliers could do this.Straight out of the box, used for fixing lunch, sharp, very comfortable to use, nice weight so you don't have to for e the blade, it does everything for you, meat, veg etc.Can't really see the point if the finger guard, it doesn't fit my finger anyway, was designed for female finger I think...The steel is fine for a quick touch up, but I've sent off for the sharpening stones as well, my experience with Global knives demonstrated the need for sharpening stones.Having been a professional chef for forty years, my trusty Sabatier knives have gone the distance, but were worn to the quick after forty years, I stretched them out with other knives, but most were made from steel alloys that while took an edge were too soft to really last and with forged handles were uncomfortable to use.At first try I fell in love with the Mosfiata Nakiri knife, definitely thinking of the other knives in the series... Can't recommend too highly.Have always been a bit sceptical of reviews but the ones here seem to bear out the product...

Fantastic knife set, so sharp and stay sharp.Great balance, I really enjoy cooking and these make me smile.Well apart from nearly taking the end of my finger off, my own fault, just not concentrating.

These seem to be excellent value, they are a little heavier from my last knives. Hopefully the sharpness remains as I am a bit of a duffer at sharpening knives. Spent £’s on various sharpeners in the past! Keeping my fingers crossed:

Was really excited about the knife when it arrived was super sharp and felt nice balance and weight - AND THEN I USED IT! Lost its sharpness after one use and actually doesn’t cut straight so went straight back to my old knife - im a chef so going back to Global

Absolutely love it. Sharp, comfortable to cut, strong and good quality! The only thing maybe box could be more quality, but it would affect the price:)
