I bought this to run pfSense. Previously I used an old PC. So this unit was to reduce power usage.It was easy to set up. It came with Windows 11 installed, so I just installed pfsense over it, wiping the SSD.It does the job perfectly and I recommend this model the build is excellent and the price is good.

After some extensive research, I decided to purchase from Glovary, offering a great price for the barebone option at the time of purchase.I went with the Intel N100 6-Port option due to the low power draw. The purchase went smoothly and when I had a couple of questions, Celia from the support team instantly responded and provided all the necessary information, including the type of FAN (80x80x10 PWM) and BIOS manual.The device was delivered within the given timeframe and arrived in perfect condition.Accessories such as SATA adapter, various screws, mount plate and fan adapter were all included. The device looks and feels very premium, the housing is full metal and very well-built.Took me around 5-10 minutes to install both NVMe, RAM and the Fan. Installed OPNsense without any issues (bare metal) and all 6-Ports of the 2.5GbE i226V were recognised and run at the advertised 2.5GbE speed. The device runs a little bit hot, but nothing major. OPNsense reports CPU temp between 45-50C. PPPoE from BT, 900Mb/110Mb, runs without any issues and CPU Utilisation is around 3-5% idle and averages below 20%.Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend this device and brand to anyone planning to install OPNsense/PFsense.Thank you again Celia and Glovary for all your support throughout the process, you have exceeded my expectations!

The Glovary Firewall Mini PC Quad Core N100 was an excellent purchase. This high-performance device boasts cutting-edge features, including DDR5 8GB RAM and a lightning-fast 128GB NVMe SSD. Equipped with a 6 x 2.5GbE i226V LAN and a fanless design. However, I opted to connect a small fan to the inside of the case to improve overall thermal cooling. This micro firewall appliance guarantees robust and reliable performance. It also includes AES-NI, a Type C port, and a TF card slot, making it a versatile and comprehensive solution for all your firewall needs. I have been using this hardware for a bare-bones OPNsense installation, which is performing flawlessly without disruptions. I also used the highly adaptable internal connections to add a standard 3.5 External HDD for logging purposes. I highly recommend this hardware to anyone looking to enhance their router capabilities. Also, the support I have received from Glovary has been unparalleled and beyond my expectations.

I have just bought my second one of these (n100 with six 2.5GB nics) and both work really well. I loaded them up with 2 nvme, 1 ssd and 32gb ddr5 and am using them as test beds for nic aggregation, file transfers and testing backup software from multiple servers to multiple nas and usb drives. They work well, are silent and use little power.Glovary support sent over pdfs and configuration information the day before the PC’s arrived and are quick to respond to any questions. Delivery is about 9 days which is the great as the estimate was 10-14 days.Overall I’m really pleased with these PC’s with their great price and performance. Don’t expect to play games on them as that is not their purpose. They are designed to handle network traffic and many people use them as firewall routers (pfsense, opensense etc).

I was looking for hardware to run OPNsense that also supported multiple 2.5 GB ethernet ports and I found this Glovary Firewall Mini PC which seemed ideal and had good reviews so I ordered one.It arrived from the PRC a couple of days early, it had been well packed and arrived undamaged. Local delivery was by Royal Mail.First impressions were very good, it feels a quality product and looks decent (even though no one will see it). I was impressed to see the installed 16 GB RAM module was from Crucial.Installing OPNsense was really straight forward with everything being recognised by the OS and I put a basic configuration on in no time at all. I'm now running it as my home firewall and am looking forward to enhancing its configuration.I'm trying it initially without a fan as I like it being silent but I'll see how I get on with - at least it's easy to add a fan if it's needed.The vendor has provided a good set of documentation and seems easy enough to contact.In summary if you are looking for a Mini PC type device to run OPNsense I don't think you can go wrong with one of these machines.

Bought to replace an N5105 based micropc that was running too warm for my liking. Excellent device for running Opnsense. Very easy to set up. Arrived on time. Customer support was excellent, providing setup information as soon as the item was shipped and also were happy to ship a uk adapter for the power plug as was originally only supplied with a EU one.
