I bought mine after doing extensive reading. I love how its easy to handle and the easy to read display. I was a little disappointed that its not as user ready as other models I own, but once I learned how to properly use it, and it took quite of time on and off the field, I am convinced that this is the best by far. My search time and bad digs have reduced drastically, giving me more fun and worthwhile digs.

I have had mine for about 3 weeks its tough at first coming from a $1,000 metal detector but if you read the manual and watch some youtube videos and it gets easier to use. Its a good price for what you get, simple to construct and deconstruct. The noise is loud so thats good and you can control that constant hum sound you hear with other detectors. If youre looking at this and the 3030 just get the manticore. This is lightweight all carbon fiber and fully waterproof! (up to 16ft) its loud enough to hear underwater without the waterproof-headphones.
