This is the second one I have bought, why? Well attrition frankly. I have the very best razors from Solingen, Canada, and the USA. This is by far the best I have. Very limited nicks, but very efficient where growth is thickest, i.e. just below lips. Safe enough for blind shaving in the shower and only ordered a second one in case I drop the o.g. and find they're no longer in business. New DE shaver or an old hand, you should try this one.

Lighter than I expected but adequate for the job.

This double edge safety razor is well presented, a nice black box with a green inner box where the razer sits.No blades are included, so you'll have to source your own to get started. Would suggest you get a couple of different types to see what you prefer.In use it's quite a light razor, so you might be able to get more control over it if you're not used to using the weight to your advantage. You do not need to apply much pressure like you do with disposables, but the weight might lend itself for those who are coming over to try it.Lots of grip on the handle, even if you're hands are using a gel for shaving with you shouldn't have a problem being steady.Head removes easily and slots in nice. Blade fitment is perfect, from my initial shave the angle is perfect, about the same as my preferred edwin jagger de89. The black finish on it looks awesome, really struggled to get a decent picture to show it off.Would have been happy using this as my first introduction to safety razors.

Make sure to get a set of razors with this as this doesn't come with any blades. I have a pack of Wilkingsons .To put the blade in, I have to unscrew the handle then lift the cover off and place the blade in.In prepping for my shave I made sure to heat my facial hair by placing a hot towel on my face for a few minutes. Then I splashed warm water on my face to soften the hair more. Then applied shaving gel with brush (not from an aerosol can, I understand they are not ever good for shaves).Then I started shaving...wow, such a big difference to shaving with those multi-blade shavers. I really feel the close shave and cutting power of this DE shaver but as I have dense stubble, I do have to make 2 or 3 passes. But the end result is sublime. I believe I have good technique, ensuring I stretch the skin taut and shave with the grain (to avoid sores on face but under chin, I have to make upward strokes regardless due to limited manoeuvring)Good looking and good performance.

Ordered this as often fancied a safety razor- That clean, safe shave without the risk of slicing myself to pieces with the current trend of razors with 5+ blades.. The item arrived well packaged and in a neat presentation box. It's worth noting that the razor does not come with blades- you'll have to provide those yourself...The razor is easy to disassemble to fit the blades and once done (as per the decent instructions), it is ready to use. The handle is well balanced and fits in the hand comfortably- the textured handle gives a positive feel when held. Quality is excellent, with the razor well made and easy to clean. Price break is brilliant, giving you a high quality razor and a comfortable shave- especially given the price of the blades for this compared to cartridge systems. Highly recommended.

The razor itself is well made and seems pretty durable.It's a shame it doesn't come with a pack of razors, I'd happily pay a little more to have some bundled with it. Then again, if you're used to using this type of shaver, already have some blades and are replacing an existing one its probably a good option.The shaver does a good job and as mentioned already seems pretty well made so I've gone for 4 stars.

I ordered the shiny "Silver" colour and I especially like the handle which gives a good grip. I would have preferred the brand logo "BAILI" was not on the top, however its not that noticeable.It's about 10cm by 4.4cm by 2.5cm, about the size of another Double Edge Safety Razor I have. This is shorter than disposable razors.It gives a good shave and using these type of razors works out far cheaper than disposable razors.No razor blades are supplied but these can be ordered easily on Amazon.The head of the razor that holds the blade is just a little wider about 2.4cm rather than 2.3cm as on another razor I have. There are little ridges along rather than the straight finish on my usual razor. This is fine and I soon got used to that but I would have preferred a straight metal edge.
