We purchased a Cub Cadet LT 42" riding mower a few years back with a bagging attachment. Wifey insisted on the bagging attachment because we have a dog and 100% hardwood floors: she does not like the idea of loose grass being brought in by the dog that creates clean up work on the floors. During an average mowing, we generated 5-8 bags of grass to dispose of for each mowing. Regardless of the amount bagged, grass clippings indoors was always a problem. Even though the grass bagging and disposal process was relativity quick, it still slowed us down by 5-10 minutes each dumping cycle.This season, I purchased a generic grass plug for the mower deck, and a pair of these blades. The blades do such an efficient job that we are cutting in about 2/3 of the time required previously, and we are seeing much less grass tracked indoors.I don't have other mulching blades to compare with, but when compared to standard blades, these win hands down. I never plan on bagging again!

I would give these blades 10 stars if I could. I have a John Deere lawn tractor and have tried various OEM and JD mulching blades with poor cutting results. I decided to try these figuring things couldn't get any worse and immediately I've seen remarkable results. I prefer to mulch and the new blades cut the grass very fine, there is no more clumping across the lawn in a line and the lawn has an even cut. I wish I had tried these blades sooner.

Fits the craftsman lt1000 42” mower. Shipping was quick. Once it arrived I installed onto my mower and gave them a test run. I am very pleased and they held up great. Blades were sharp out of the package and looked better than any other blades I’ve seen. Very durable and you won’t be disappointed with the results.

While I like the price for these blades, the quality control of the exacting dimensions is not accurate! I installed them on my Craftsman T2400 46" deck and the blade tips actually contact each other. It's fairly minor contact, but it's still there! As I mowed my lawn today, the noise level went noticeably down as they are "wearing" in. Once the noise subsides - on the next mowing, hopefully, I will jack it up and take a look at the wear points and hopefully be able to get a photo.The upside is that they cut beautifully and I would buy them again if the manufacturer would make an acknowledgement as to finding out the problem during manufacture!

Part fit perfectly on my mower. Have not had a chance to mow yet, but from the look of the blade it is a definite upgrade from my previous replacement. Very pleased with these blades. I'd been running the original blade on my mower for years--pulling it off periodically to grind the blade sharp again. That worked ok but at some point the old blade got bent slightly and developed some deep nicks on the sharp edge. I replaced it with one of these and the results were immediately obvious--cleaner, even cut and more efficient blowing of clipped grass into the catcher bag. Even springtime mowing with heavy growth and damp grass works better than it has since the mower was new. Great value! I'd recommend.

I bought these for my Troy-Bilt 46" Horse lawn tractor. They were a perfect fit and after 2 cuts with them I'm happy with the results.

Easy install. Direct replacement for my craftsman LT1000. Seem to cut well enough, but the only observation was the factory edge is pretty dull. I didn’t see anything about needing to sharpen them before install, but I felt like I probably should have. The old blades I took off felt sharper than these brand new ones.
